Why is there no love for The Newsroom? I abs love it!

I agree with you Mr Milli. I take it you watched some of Sorkin's other stuff like West Wing and the not very well known Sports Show.

Wife watched West Wing (which she loved) but it just passed me by as that was shown back in my partying days. Just IMDBd Sports Night. Will add that to the list after this one. He also did Moneyball, Charlie Wilson's war and a few good men. Wow, some talent that guy!

Newsroom bitches, get on it!

Meh - I watched the first 6-8 episodes of Newsroom and I just found the dialogue very false and forced and the characters a bit too cliched.

Watched all of Newsroom and enjoyed it all. Can sort of see where you are going with the cliche stuff Redarmi and it really doesn't ruffle any feathers at all during it really aside from one or two moments, but it was entertaining in a nice and calming way, without any suspense at all really. So for me, it really did offset Breaking Bad wonderfully. As I would watch both one after the other on the Monday morning.

I've long wanted to see a particular interview on the Colbert Report with Magnus Carlsen, the world's number one chess player. Today, I saw an article with it linked and was delighted, until I opened it and saw this:

Another decent ep of Sunny. While none have been amazing, they seem to realise what the fans like this year and it's a lot more consistent.

Agents of Shield was pretty disappointing, I love my Marvel stuff but this was way to clichéd cheesy crap - going to give it a few weeks to get going, just in case.

I enjoyed it. Nice dry humour.

I really enjoyed it aswell, was good fun.  More of Phil Coulson can never be a bad thing.

Pretty great new episode of Homeland - it's just so much better when the focus is on Saul rather than Brody/Carrie silliness.

Was going to wait the season out, but tempted to watch now. Mandy Patinkin is such a great actor, and I was gutted when he left Criminal Minds.

Also, just discovered that a new series of Eastbound and Down started last night as well - what a lovely surprise. I never even knew it was coming back, thought it had finished for good.
