I dont understand why people would go out and eat a burger in a restaurant (unless its something like gbk). Surely there is better food on the menu.

LOL ... YOU started the bloody thread !!

So only those places that do the burgers well done (overcooked) rather than anywhere that may cook it to order.

I agree, I don't know why someone would order a burger in a decent restaurant. Might be option in a chain pub where the chef's are in fact just cook's and masters of the fryer and microwave.

Someone on a food forum commented that they were surprised when asked how they would like their burger when at GBK and told by the waitress that they normally cook it medium. In this country due to the fast food joints most people think burgers have to be cooked well done otherwise they are dangerous to eat. A burger cooked medium rare is so much tastier

Excessive drinking my cause taste illusions! If that was the best burger in years, then Im assuming the lump of dirt you ate on the way home was the best kebab you had ever had.

lol I typed that message out on my Iphone and meant to type 'mates' but for some reason the word 'Kherson' came up and I didn't notice till you brought it up.

Also, I don't eat Kebabs, the amount of shite in it is just sick!!! We usually go to this Noodle Bar that's open till 4am, now that really is the daddy of late night drunken food!

I would love late night noodles.

I don't mind kebabs as long as it's not doner. I've even found a kebab shop where the workers wash their hands before preparing the food - which is a nice bonus.

a burger cooked medium can be very dangerous. i eat them myself, but its a lot different than getting a steak rare or medium...
