Playing a recent deep stack and kinda wondered best line to take here. Villain hadnt been too active but seemed to to be in pots that he could open first. Blinds at 150/300 and he opens to 800from the hijack. Im the button and flat with . We both playing over 110 bb and he has me covered just. Flop He leads for 1050 - Does anyone ever flat? I raised to 2825, he flats. Turn He checks - should I always be leading here? I led for 4575 and puke up when he check raises me to 14100. Action on me? ?

Think you've played this right champ. Turn is a bet/fold imo

I would check back the turn just because I so badly want to see a river card. And i don't mind paying off 4k or so to his river bet, but I do mind putting 4k in the pot on the turn and not making it to the river.

Never checking back the turn? Sorry thought you were first to act. I would check back turn here in position and re-evaluate river

Yeah pretty obvious check back on the turn. No better hand ever folds and no worse hands call. In fact it's pretty much the worst bet I've ever seen. WP.
I would call flop check back turn nearly always once i've flatted pre. It's also weird in that you mainly want to miss your flush if you bet cawl the turn too!

Nah fistpump raise flop, hope to get shoved on and gtfo that deepstack snorefest, and call pre is standard, might 3bet sometimes I guess but call is definitely default line. I wouldn't be raising the flop hardly ever. 3 betting pre would depend on my recent 3 betting history at the table really.

I would call flop check back turn nearly always once i've flatted pre. This is my preferable line in position this deep. Having said that I don't mind a raise on the flop either. BUT this turn card is the worst card EVER!

raise on flop looks standard to me. Turn is now a fold, but is hardly the worst bet ever. I have made way worse in my time, and probably see far worse daily.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots
