Welsh online:
Bit frustrating, win the odd pot, lose the odd pot.
Had 8 small to med pp in 1st hour and not once hit the flop.
almost first break, just below starting. Long way to go

Lol
I will post a report for each one.
Preparing one for the weekend just gone, should be up tonite/tomorrow, unless of course the backers would prefer it only gets sent to them.
I'm intending to also include some spots that I found myself in for feedback for future tourneys. Apart from the software not being the greatest, I can't determine how to get HH from the tourneys. Under preferences I ticked the send HH and it gave me a pathway within my C:/ but I can't find anything, any help on this would be appreciated.

If you can find a way to let everyone see them except Cos my life would be complete.
Thx

Welsh Online Championship
All APAT online championships are 10k deepstack tourneys, which suit me, the majority of my wins have been in deepstack tourneys so was looking forward to the first of the series.
Tourney started and the only 2 players I recognised at the table were Rupinder and Stu Oliver. With Rupinder at the table I knew there would be a bit of action as he can be aggressive and especially in the early levels of a deepstack I like to play a bit more aggressively. Sure enough the early levels seen most of the play between Rupinder, myself and a player with the username Marmite.
Marmite was by far the most aggressive of us all, continually raising pre, re- popping raises and generally bullying the table. I would push back in the odd spot with a strong holding but generally he would show the goods or hit the draw.
A typical example:
15/30 level – On the Button holding QJ marmite raises to 64 and I flat BB calls
Flop
,
,
BB checks marmite bets 140 and I raise to 470.25. BB folds and Marmite calls.
Turn
Marmite checks – I check (I would usually bet out here probs 1/2 to 3/4 pot)
River
marmite bets 2,000 and I fold
The near double pot bet flummoxed me tbh and wasn’t convinced that he wasn’t drawing but for some reason didn’t pull the trigger.

As mentioned earlier, within the first hour I picked up about 8 small to medium pocket pairs but each time the flop would run out A K 10/KQx sort of style with others betting out, or if unopened I’d pop in a bet to try to take it only to be raised or flatted and a bet following the turn.
Another hand that I ended up letting go was:
On 75/150 level I pick up
,
in 2nd posn and I raise to 525 marmite calls
Flop
,
,
I bet 956.25 marmite raises to 2,100 and I call, I’m actually feeling 10 10 – JJ here, does he really reraise here with AQ or a set?
Turn As – I check and marmite bets 3,000 – I fold
Was I ever ahead before the turn?

I slipped back to 7.5k, which I wasn’t too worried about as this is quite common for me due to my style in the deepstacks. I tightened up for a bit and gradually got back up to about 11k. We then returned to more of the same, semi decent hands, raising or flatting only to be called or reraised and when choosing to see a flop, hitting nowt and being betted/reraised off.
Exit hand:
150/300 level
SB and I pick up pocket tens
Marmite in 3rd posn raises to 600 and I reraise to 1,750 ish
Marmite shoves for 27k and I call for my last 6.5k
He shows KK and its good game me.
At the time I’m really feeling that his shove is AK/AQ.
Marmite went on to win the tourney and I learnt by reading the APAT thread that it was in fact Steve Bayliff. Having seen Steve at past APAT events, If I had known previously I’d probably have pushed back a bit more often. Not knocking his game, but know that he would have been chancing his arm in a few of the earlier skirmishes.
I am now compiling a list of Apaters’ betfair usernames so I know as much as possible who I’m sitting with in future tourneys. I finished 118 of 144 but am confident this will be my lowest finish and I do have the win in me over the series.
Constructive criticism welcome.

Mistake here is raising flop Geo. Hand is hard to play OOP and you don't want to inflate the pot here.
