Matt went into the tank for a good minute before calling with  and Gemal flipped  .

The flop was nasty for Gemal,  , and the turn, despite strengthening Matt, gave Gemal more outs for a chop, as it was the  . The river was a safe  though, and Gemal headed straight out the door.

Pretty much as this was happening, a short stacked Dean Morris pushed his last 8.1k in preflop:

and got calls from both Matt Cartwright in the small blind and Andrew Wright in the big blind. The board came x-x-x-8-x and Andrew flipped 8-8. Matt mucked A-10 and Dean ruefully smiled and flipped 3-3 before heading to collect his £450.
