Just gone back to it now, and theyve gone back to what they were origianlly called before the reboot.

seemed to be, yup.

So can you:

a) install malwarebytes in safe mode
b) delete the bad files in safe mode
c) select safe mode with networking and get malwarebytes working?

So my dads took it to someone who is apparently 'good with computers' and sorts stuff like this out all the time' LOL

on my phone now, as got no laptop. Sigh
