Stuart Rutter had a 90,000 stack

Sean Van Slujis raised to 5,000 on the button

Stuart made it 16,000 in the small blind

Sean pushed for about 25,000 more, and Stuart beat him into the pot

Sean

Stuart

Sadly for Stuart the flop was decisive:

and Rutter's recovery is stalled as he goes below-average chips with 95 left

Toby Lewis has moved to table Andy Black

Black 110,000

Lewis 70,000

Elsewhere Keith Hawkins has 170,000. Steady progress today, not many fireworks that I ve seen, which is I expect how he'd like to progress

Brian "BAM" Martin shoved the hi-jack and Toby Lewis re-shoves the button

BAM has nursed his short-stack, and has a 12,000 stack

Brian 8-6 suited

Toby A-Q off

Queen on the flop sends BAM to the rail and Toby back up to a 50,000 stack

Last of the DTD Live qualifiers is Jason Herbert, still around 50,000

Nik Persaud and Ben Roberts must have played thousands of hands against each other over the years, and just got into a "I know that you know that I know" contest on table Cos.

There was more than 40,000 in the pot when I arrived on the turn with the board reading  two spades and Persaud was contemplating a call of Roberts’ shove for 35,000.

After talking to himself for several minutes Persaud convinced himself Roberts was running an elaborate bluff and made the call with the qualification that “You might be bluffing with the best hand”,

Roberts rose, raised his eyebrows and said “I have very little” and they both sheepishly turned their hands over.

Persaud showed  but Roberts was in fact bluffing with the best hand, tabling  .

The dealer produced a chop via a  river.

Persaud commented wryly that you “Wouldn’t want to do anything silly twenty off the money now would you?”.

Jen Mason adds another 35k to her stack.  A chap made it 3,800 to play, Jen 3bets to 8,500, matey makes it 20k leaving only about 8k behind.

Jen does tank a little bit but eventually says CALL rather than all-in to put the guy all in.  They agree to get it all in pre-though and matey is gutted to see Jen's JACKS seeing as he has TENS.  No drama's as the board runs out.

I'll take a guess but I think the name of this "matey" is Rob Jarrett-Smith.

James Mitchell raises to 4,700 in Mid Position from a 150,000 stack

Jonas Becker shoves 45,000 from the small blind with

Mitchell ponders and says "this time I have a hand" and calls with

board  three diamonds and Mitchell goes above 200,000
