Could you win a poker tournament with a decent structure (you start 200bb deep, slow levels) if you were dealt KK every hand, and everyone KNEW that you had KK every hand?

Thoughts on the most +ev way to play etc.

You would only need steal the blinds twice an orbit so I'm going to say yes

I don't think you could possibly win.

To steal the blinds you need an unopened pot or you may run in to AA. Obviously you could anyway.

You'd have to play a few flops to get any amount of chips and then you're going to get exploited to f**k. How could anyone bluff you? If anyone bets on an A high flop you have to pass. Even if there isn't an A you will think they've got a set or better.

I don't think there's any way of winning.

Evil, how many pots would you open knowing the guy behind had KK

My point behind stealing the blinds was a base point you would win other pots too

don't think so... if everyone knows you have kk every hand you could so easily get outplayed everyhand... people shove with air on you because they know you have kk and you have to fold postflop unless you have the nuts as they can rep anything...

Post flop?

Huh?
you have kk villain has 8 3 flop is a66... villain shoves knowing you have kk... do you call??? most likely not... loads of tricky spots can come up having kings post flop where you have to fold meaning you lose chips... people can take advantage if they know your hand...

Could you win a poker tournament with a decent structure (you start 200bb deep, slow levels) if you were dealt KK every hand, and everyone KNEW that you had KK every hand?

Thoughts on the most +ev way to play etc.

Off the top of my head, I like the idea of open folding in early postion and mis position, and 30x ing every hand when in other positions (unless there's action before you). As tournament goes on, if we're still alive we can open up and start playing from mid position too.

If people get used to you folding in mid position, or when there is action before you, there will be plenty hands getting played, and there will often be action before you and money to be made randomly moving in to pick this up every so often.

You'd maybe have to fold a few of your 30x's when people flat you or pop you, but I reckon you could start calling and using mad poker skillz and soul reads when people see these folds and through boredom/ego/oppurtunism they start increasing their bluffing frequency vs you (where bluffing = playing any hand that isn't AA)

Counter strategy against the 30x if you are bluffing would be best to make sure you have at least one ace (other card preferrably being suited and not 6,7,8 or 9) in your hand
I prefer shoving to flatting. Flat and if KK man suspects your strategy of holding at least one ace when you play a hand against him and are bluffing, it's hard/impossible to get action when ace flops and it'll be hard/impossible to bluff him off the pot when no ace flops.

Could possibly win a tournament like this. It's obv not a lock though.

play every hand shove every hand?

With 200 big blind stacks...

We win 1.5 bigs when no-one has AA and are not called
We lose 128 bigs (of equity) when someone does have AA

So we need to get the shove through ~85 times for every hand we're called in order for it to be +EV (in terms of chipEV).

Odds of AA being dealt to any given player 220 to 1 ish iirc

So when 200 BBs deep and opponents only call with AA

[ x ] +EV to open shove from the small blind (called once every 220 hands)ish
[ x ] +EV to open shove from the button (called once every 110 hands)ish
[   ] +EV to open shove from the cut off (called once every 73 hands)ish
