On a sort of sidenote will Darren Ambrose stay at Palace he's had an outstanding season.

A lot depends on whether a takeover happens in the next couple of weeks.  If not then players are going to have to be sold and Ambrose will be one of those likely to move on.  He has 1 year left on his contract as far as i know and there is no reason to believe he would want to move unless he is told he has to.

His goals return for a midfielder has been exceptional but he would be about 5th on the list of players i would hate to be sold.

Speroni, Danns are likely ones, and ill take a potshot... Clyne?

there was certainly a bit of both. I hate any fans who go onto the pitch, they have no right to be there.

The reaction of a few of the wednesday fans was pathetic. No space for that in football, and no excuse for that
Having said that, the palace fans should have known better than to invade the pitch away from home when the opposition had been sent down and the police/stewards should have seen it all coming when it became likely that palace would win - no one should have been able to get past them. The fact that it happened again at Luton the next day shows that it is not a problem isolated to any particular club, but is due to the fact that anytime you get 20/30/40000 people in one place there will always be plenty of pricks. The police need to be more prepared and organised in order to stop this BS.

I was also pissed off with the wednesday fans who invaded the pitch in order to dance around and boot balls into the net - WTF was that about? If they don't care they shouldn't be there and especially shouldn't be anywhere near the pitch.

Support wise Wednesday were pretty poor but i'd put this down to nerves and the fact that we knew we were down. Thought we were okay after Palace's 2nd went in though when everybody knew we weren't going to do it. From where i was sat Palace were very loud to begin with and after both goals but pretty quiet between the equaliser and their 2nd goal and almost silent after Wednesday's 2nd.
All teams have fans who are idiots. Running on to an oppositions pitch isn't the brightest move at the best of times but when they've been relegated is just stupid. All the players were infront of the fans anyway so if they wanted to join the fans they could have. There wasn't much need to run accross the pitch.
Pretty much saw it like this -
Away fans/idiots invade pitch
Home fans/idiots invade pitch to clear away fans off it
fans/idiots clash - not arsed who gets hit to be honest, if you entered the pitch then whichever side you're on you should expect trouble
Palace players leave the field - Clint Hill stays
Away fans/idiots flee the pitch - Clint Hill left on the pitch with Home fans/idiots

[X] He acts hard
It doesn't look good when it's just Hill on his own but if all we have is 50 idiots i'd take that. Two wrongs don't make a right but if no Palace fans go on to the pitch then no Wednesday fans do either.

No 1 without any shadow of a doubt is Speroni
2nd - neil danns
3rd - Clyne
Then Paddy McCarthy and Darren Ambrose - McCarthy has been immense since he came back into the team after injury for the last few matches.  Ambrose has had one of those seasons - I'm not 100% sure he will do it again next season.

Whoever goes, those players have shown in the last 3 months that they are all commited to the football club, so will not begrudge any of them moving to bigger clubs and or to secure their own futures.

Sheffield Wednesday have announced that any fans identified in the recent trouble will be banned from the ground for life and will never watch Sheffield Wednesday again.
