Think I am just below average stack at this stage, player in BB is overall chip leader and has already made his prescence known, one player who has been fairly active and getting into a lot of marginal split pot situations has limped earlyish position, so I limp along hoping BB will give us a free one...flop 2 pair and flush draw, decide to check as its a multiway pot and I could already be drawing dead, add a 3rd pair on the turn so I decide to fire a near pot bet hoping to take it there or hoping the board pairs....I get my wish but its the wrong card on the river...1st limper makes it pot to go (nearly all his stack)...his limping range has been a lot of AK/Q rag rag type hands usually suited...as played, would he use Jack as a scare card if he thought I had KQ or two hearts? Is betting turn ok, should it be smaller? Wish I raised preflop in hindsight but I was probably folding if BB reraised so took the passive route...

pretty interesting spot, think the 10 is good enough of the time. I mean if he can handread, its pretty clear you are rarely nutted, doubt he plays a str8 like this and if he had some kind of turned combo (which it looks like) i think we scoop enough of the time to call. I really think this guys position dictates a call, especially after the flop check. Really needs a bit more of a read, but then nah coz like the only made hand he reps is J7XX, which you would assume would be being played with 8/9/10 cards, which would deffo bet the flop.

yer, snap.

Would raise this up pre 100% of the time and try to get it HU with you being the aggresor on the flop i cant see him limping a 89xx hand as it is total garbage in 08.
Would fold the river.

Thats pretty much my entire thought process...went in the tank a while on this one, just doesnt seem an insta fold as others suggest...

Do you think he plays as funk AA45 hand like this? A common theme throughtout this tourney was people limping AA hands OOP and overplaying them later on...an AJ45 badugi seems most obvious but I think this guy raises these preflop..but with a monster aggro chip leader in the BB he may have taken the passive route like I did....

This hand is so weird. It's small stakes so lines are always odd. At first I thought I would snap-call, but then the guy pots river for most of his stack...I just feel he does have to have a boat here, given that quite a bit of our range is going to be Jx and Jacks Up hands or even A22x (fwiw I deffo check behind with two pair on this flop in a four-way limped pot, though I deffo lead turn).

I don't hate the limp pre incidentally.
