Maybe you rang em up a few months back and they gave you a cheap short term deal on sports/movies?

Incidently if you havent before, ring em up and say you are thinking of cancelling, they will offer you all sorts of stuff cheap.

Is there an option to opt out of that stupid magazine they make us pay €5 or €6 a month for?

you don't get physically charged for the magazine (there is a notional charge for VAT purposes). You can opt out of receiving it but it won't change your bill.

Sigh.  Shower of crooks.  Ty anyway for getting back to me so fast.  Tell Sky to give you a raise.  They can take it out of me magazine money.

You can opt for the mag by email these days, if you want to save trees. Doesn't save money though. Think you can do this through the mysky website thing. Along with remote record, which is one of the greatest inventions ever (been around a while, but only recently discovered it).
