I'm trying to collate the results from this seasons Blue Square Premier Conf league, try as I may I can't find the result, or any reference, to the Gateshead v Hayes and Yeading game.

No idea why I can't find it but any help would be welcome.

odd question, simple to find.

I just couldn't find the answer in the usual places and as I'm not a huge football follower I was going nuts.
Game was abandoned. That's why.

Geek alert.

Iit was stopped because Martin brittain, ex-Newcastle, suffered about the worst compound double fracture seen and the ambulance was on the pitch, or the side of, for 40mins while they knocked him out cold with morphine.

There was about 15mins left, Gateshead players refused to carry on as they were upset I guess.

Fa confirmed game 'finished 0-0', but at a later hearing gateshead were deducted a point & fined £2.5k (might have been suspened)  for failing to carry on.
