So tiger returns after a 3 week break from the masters. Means we can get some juicy value elsewhere with woods being 7-2 max.

I did all my bets early doors on monday afternoon, so i snapped up the value on the first two selections, best prices now are 20-1 and 22-1 respectively.

1.5pts ew Jim Furyk@22-1

Has very good course form and is firing on all cylinders right now, a terrific each way bet imo.

1.5pts ew Anthony Kim@28-1

Seems very hungry right now and another with good course form having broke the course record a couple of years ago when winning.

2pts win Phil Mickleson@10-1

Knows the course* well and will still be buzzing after his terrific augusta victory.

0.5pt ew Ricky Barnes@125-1

This young gun is improving and impressing each time he plays. Priced amongst rags who have seen better days.

0.5pt ew Troy Merrit@300-1

Another youngster coming off a runners up spot last week, a star at college golf, maybe he can finally transfer that over to the tour, has the talent.

Could do with a good week here, last week i had 3 selections within a cple of shots of the lead entering the final round, one at 125-1 and in the top 3, only for them all to fall away. Come on peeps lets gogogo! Smiley

*Apologies for mentioning course 63 times btw.

Any1 got any bets on? Do people think tiger will storm this?

I have had three small bets on BF, all on longshots who appear to me to be showing signs of life.

Hopefully at least one of them will give me a run and a chance to trade out a profit.

Charley Hoffman @ 400, Fredrik Jacobson @ 240, and Aaron Baddeley @ 250.

It looks like the back nine is playing a lot tougher than the front; Westwood and Tiger were both well over par there too.

At the end of round 1, yet again it's Ricky Barnes doing best for me after a nice opening round of 69 (-3).

Mickleson dropped a couple of shots at the end of his round but still finished with an ultra competitive -2.

Kim had an amazing start with just as bad a finish to end on level par, and fuyrk and merrit dissapointed with +3 and +4 respectively.

Before round two i added 0.5ptew Jeff Overton@150-1 (Top 4 places) to my portfolio. He's 6 shots offs the lead at -1 but was 2nd in the Zurich last week and looks overpriced compared to others.

Also looking to back to trade Heath Slocum who was at -3 and Geoff Ogilvy at -4.

Since all this round 2 has started and playing partners Mickleson and Fuyrk are tearing up the course, they have moved to -6 and -2 for the tournament.

Merrit now looks out of it at +6, but everyone else still has chances.

Guy at work just gave me 9/1 win only.  Something to cheer on anyway!

Is the big price simply because he played bad and missed the cut in this tourney just gone?  Seems massive

Apparently Tiger knocked five balls into water during a nine-hole practice round yesterday too.
