To those who never tip - please never moan about a dealer/floor error.  If you expect to get someone competent/interested in their job for min wage you are dreaming.

To OP If you thought the dealers were competent, you should tip a small amount, if not don't tip and say why.

Why should you tip dealers for being competent?

You get paid to do your job, if you don't like it you should get another job, if you're not competent you should get sacked.

I'm never leaving a tip for a min cash.

If I win a decent amount then I will do.

I'm not blaming them, I'm blaming the employers for not employing competent staff - still doesn't mean they should be tipped

I went to a club in Mayfair this weekend and our first round of drinks was £615. When I paid it on my card, our Polish hostess said 'and what about my tip?'

I wouldn't have minded if she asked in a cheeky way or said something like 'and you can buy me a drink' or 'dont forget me' but the direct asking for money shit didn't sit well with me and [  ] she got tipped at the end of the night.

A similar thing happened to me at the Irish Open, I was taken to the cashiers desk and the guy put the money in the envelope and as he handed it to me, he opened the envelope and tilted the money outwards. I went and asked Neil Channing whether I should tip and he said he'd only tip if he was in the top 3 so that made my decision.

I only tip if I'm in like top 5 or 6, and I think 1% is pretty standard...

I thought the dealers were competent (as they always are at DTD).

However, the guy i bought my train tickets from last week was competent and very helpful, the receptionist at the hotel i stayed in was competent, etc etc, but i didnt feel like i needed to tip them.

I have e-mailed stars to see what their response is.

wat?

What do you expect them to say?  Other than give you a patronising response and actually pass your email around the office saying "what a dickhead"
