Pretty bad run Tank although 800 odd games aint a massive sample as you know. What do you put it down too because i havent ran that great on em either, although still doin ok ish? tougher to beat?

Also i thought ur user was Rudyard on ftp ?

A guy that looks like me played that rudyard account. He's fresh off a 100 or so buy-in swong at the $75s.

In the hypothetical event of us being the same person, this run came right after that run, so total swing would be something in the region of 180 buy-ins. ( I agree that the run dycedog has had in and of itself is not of too much concern as it's only 800 games).

Games are definately tougher to beat. I've got a bit of data to back up this claim, as I spent a couple of evenings on sharkscope looking at trends with regs who've been active for at least 12 months and making crude spreadsheets, but nothing too scientifically rigorous.
I guesstimate ROIs are down 10% on last year.

It was the $75s I looked at in detail, but I imagine similar trends will be true at the $26s.

Games aren't unbeatable yet imo, but defo smaller margins.

Playing the last comp of the day, we're 3 handed and I need at least 2nd place to make profit on the day.

Hate these spots, you try not to nit up too much but easy shoves begin to look marginal.

fml, 3rd place.

16 games played today
-$70.4
-$61.76
after rakeback

Slices now worth $156.19

Getting a bad beat for the world (or 10k tournament chips) to go out in 10th can be a very tilty position in these things on FullTilt. The table background changes to final table colour but all the seats are empty. It's like giving you a flash of a party you're not going to.

Should have been a decent winning session today (albeit a low volume one) deep in so many comps but all I managed was a 3rd, 4th and 5th. Hope this is the last moany update.

Medium session today rather than a bigun as on Daddy duty again tomorrow morning.

32 on the cards, a nice healthy profit to see us back over $2k would be nice. Let's hope the only thing that tilts me is David Dimbelby and his friends on Question Time.

Forgot how hard it is to update when you lose.

I'm so steamed just now. It just doesn't seem to stop. Bad run followed by bad run followed by another bad run. It seems it doesn't matter how much I review my game or take a break or whatever, in the last few months the luck of the draw has just decided to shaft me again and again and again. Then a bit more and now it's just getting stupid.

Session started good, getting heads up with a small lead in one of the first comps I started.

We lost that

Then we lost everything else (30 blanks and a min cash)

I have no idea how I made a living from this game for 4 years. I might be quitting and whatever but I still feel terrible. I want to win. I know it's a game of variance and I thought I was good at handling that but right now I can't help just feeling sorry for myself, I feel like I'm so due a big winning few days it's unbelivable.

32 games played
-$508 from table
-$490.72 after rakeback

Current value of slices $107.18

The annoying thing is that the natural narrative if you're a spectator here is that I just don't care because I'm quitting poker and it's not my money. That bad results are bound to follow.

That pisses me off because I know I'm still trying as hard as ever. There's a monkey on my back and I want it to fk right off.

I want to win, I honestly don't see anything stopping that apart from this shitty variance. I just want to run good for a small while please. One week and we're all done. Let me leave the stage with a scrap of dignity please poker Gods.
