YCA problems

Right, Im 27 and a Police Officer.
I live with my girlfriend in a detached house. Between my house and next door is a pathway (about as wide as a driveway, leading to a field).
Every night we have around 10-16 local youths playing footie in the street against metal railings blocking this pathway to the field.
This doesnt bother me one bit as 10 years ago I did the same.
Last week the ball hit my birds car window, breaking the electronics. Cost £100
Yesterday they broke my fence, which they climb over around 10 times a night to retrieve their ball from the field.
None of this I reported to the Police as I know nothing can be proved.
Today I bought an entire new fence and put it up. 1 hour later it was broke.
My girlfriend came home to find 3 of them in my front garden inspecting a flower type thingy which they had obv just broke.
She shouted at them, they slagged her off, I went out and tried to explain things sensibly, they called me a *****, she phoned the Police, they did nothing.
Anyone any ideas as to what I can do. They are too young to hit, Im not going down the route of threatening them as I will end up fucked, but I have just forked out around £300 to fix the car etc and I really am lost as what to do.

Interesting............I had exactly the same issue in a previous house of mine. It pissed me off so much with the things that happened I eventually moved house and will never buy a house with an alleyway down the side again. It was also in one of the nicest parts of Nottingham so location made no difference.
Can't really give advice as I never solved the problem.

ask your road traffic collleagues just to make something up or frame them............... that usually works - prosecutions are no problem with fabrictaed evidence

It's a tough one, because they are very unlikely to receive any punishment from the justice system (as you well know) due to their age and the nature of the incidents.
Maybe worth speaking to a few of them in isolation - maybe the 'ringleaders' and trying to get them on your side to start with? Do they live nearby, maybe worth a word with their parents (if they give a toss)? I'm not sure that'll work either though.

Its because Im a cop that I cant push/punch/shout loudly at them as I will get reported.
I live in Norn Iron so going out in my cops uniform isnt great.
They know Im a cop and dont give a fuck.
Carpet grip on the fence etc is illegal.
Filming the kids wont end well for me either as they could claim I am some sort of peado
The ringleaders dad is in the Police too so the wee buggers are fully aware of the Police's limited options.
The Police from my experience are rather useless when it comes to YCA as there isnt the time and its hardly priority no 1

What legal options are there in Norn Iron for this sort of thing? ASBOs, or prosecuting the parents?
I can see problems with walking out holding a camcorder, but a fixed security camera could get some nice evidence and maybe deter them a bit. Even a hi res webcam on a 5m USB cable can do a decent job.

There is ASBOs etc but its very hard to get enough evidence together to get one.
Had the Police out this morning and they are going to get the local neighbourhood police to look into it...
They also said I could go down the lines of tresspassing
