Matt Russell has just got knocked out. 4 bet all in pre with AK for 6.6k, Jonathon Butters calling the additional 4.5k following his 3 bet to 2100 with pocket 8's. No help for Matt i'm afraid.

Last months winner Michelle Bennett was involved in a nice 3 way pot. I arrived to see the small blind leading out for 2100 into a pot of about the same on a two hearts flop. The big blind flat called and michelle made it 7000 total. The small blind eventually flat called and the big blind eventually folded.

The river was the scary which went check check and michelle claimed the pot with a set of 4's.

On a board of , a young man we believe to be Jamie Giles was all in for 25k over the top of Karl Snow's 2500 bet into a pot of 8.5k. Snow was in the tank and stayed there for a good 3 minutes before calling and putting Giles at risk.

Giles:
Snow:

They had both flopped the nuts, but Snow had redrawn on Giles and turned the flush. The river was a blank and Giles stormed off, muttering under his breath about being slowrolled.

Mark Alridge has just knocked Simon Trumper & Daniel Weston. Simon flopped the king high flush, Mark had a set of 4's and Daniel had AK o/s when all the chips flew in on a flop. Mark made a full house on the river and now has over 40,000.

Carl Hoefkens - he of the tattoos from a previous post - has just doubled through Kevin Noble in a rather weird hand. I joined it with Noble betting 2400 into a 5.5k pot on a flop after Paul "I win comps at DTD for fun" Pitchford had checked, and Hoefkens went al in for 6k exactly. Pitchford agonisingly folded only to see Noble tank for a good 4-5 minutes, enough time for me to watch Alan Stearn double up through Ossama Akkary with 9-8 against Ossama's 9-7 on a 8-6-4 flop, the turn and river both blanks.

Noble eventually called and showed to Carl's . The turn and river were two hearts and Two Diamonds respectively, and Carl is back up to average chips. Paul Pitchford wasn't too happy, however, claiming he folded .

Ann Tran-dinh was put all in by Robin Transin on a flop of Ann duly called for her last 4k with 10c, Robin had . The turn was the giving Robin two pairs but opening up the club re-draw for Ann, which she obviously hit on the river. Much to Robin's disgust.

So to recap, Tran-dinh, was put all in by transin, but he didnt win, and he didn't grin.

Me=Genius imo.

More action at table JoBo that now has Joe Grech on there. Jalal Rasoul limps utg for 300, Mitch makes it 1000 which is called by Joe Grech and Kirit Patel, Jalal also calls and they see a 10h two spades flop. Jalal checks and mitch bets 2650. Joe and Kirit get out the way and Jalal calls. The turn is the . Once again Jalal checks and mitch moves all in for 14.5k. which covers jalal who eventually folds after much consideration.

Oh and JoBo has 12k and has been waiting 20 minutes for a pint of lager. Other than that he is in good spirits.
