Intresting spot came up last night at the £100 freezeout in Blackpool.
Blinds are 400/800/50 around 50 runners left from 77.
I'm sb 35k, Bb 8k, Villain in Late pos 50k+ (newish to table, just seen him bet out bb in prev hand both had AK)
Late pos limps for 800
I flat in sb with 5 2o, bb checks.
Flop 2 5 J rainbow
how do we proceed?

Depends really on how often Girgy limps from the SB. I assume if he does it with 52 he's doing it quite often so he should be mixing up his post flop tactics. Impossible to say what the best thing to do here is without knowing what Girgy has done at other times. I don't like leading on this board because chances are nobody's hit any of it and will just pass unless they decide to bluff. There's no straight draws for hands that are in the pot so unless there's at least a flush draw out there I'm always checking this without some history of always limp leading the SB. |

2.6 is far too big imo also
