I always liked the oldish dealer with the grey ponytail.

Harvey.

Top man. Takes no shit from anyone.

Very dry sense of humour bordering on seeming like a miserable git but if you know how to get on with him he's great.

Bit like a young version of BAM I suppose.

Ah know who you mean now the guy would be in his late forties, early fifties yeah?

Sigh.

"Having a pop ?"

No, simply providing clarification re the original post that a particular barperson did not leave of his own volition, plainly my view of him is different but that's based on my observations of him & his attitude towards other customers plus the stories I have been told.

*Shrug*

Mr Russel, he was not miserable to me or Helen in our dealings at the bar but thanks for your input.

Apologies, I must have misunderstood, in my parallel universe referring to someone as follows would be classed as having a pop at their personality.

If you mean "Mr Happy" then I believe he was got rid off.

ego driven individual

There's a comedian on the telly who reminds me of BAM.  Just wish I could remember his name.  Anyway, proof that even grumpy looking sorts can be funny.   Wink

presume you've tried googling.

this is the first site that comes up - don't know if you're contacted them, but looks like it's free to register yourself as a dealer on there

Step 1- play poker tournament
Step 2- ask a dealer who doesn't seem to be a regular where you are playing
Step 3- profit.

Speak to one of the blowins at Dusk Till Dawn. I believe you need 2 years dealing experience, but if you know people in the buisness, its easy as pie to get in.

Shaun the barman is one of the nicest people Iv met around Dusk Till Dawn. He left, as has been mentioned, with Charlotte for the baby. He was always an absolute pleasure to work with and have always considered him a friend as well as a work acquantance. Id be lying if I didnt say he has a very dry and select sense of humour, but he is a really nice guy
