SOCCER MANAGER AGAIN

It's been over a year since the original game died but the first few seasons of that game were incredible. This is purely an interest and opinion thread as I'd be willing to set up a new Blonde Championship if there is interest.

It's got a new look and I'm led to believe there are a number of new features which will bring a fresh approach to the game.

Few questions we'd need to discuss....

Start now or after transfer window? I'd be happy to start now as if you can snap up someone who is set to move to the big time you are certain to get a rating increase.

What clubs? Before everyone just picked their favourite club thinking it would be fun - Horneris picking Leeds for example and having to battle teams like Barca every game - not sure he knew what he was getting himself in to!!! Premier League? Euro League? All championship clubs? Ideas please.

Hopefully we can get a load of the originals (as well as new players) playing as the interaction in the thread was fun and made the game more enjoyable IMO. I know a few people were asking for a new game in the other thread.

Haha, I know what you guys mean. I was thinking perhaps using the 20 best teams in the game so that the majority of transfers would be amongst each other, and less scouting for days on end. More about setting tactics for the games, less life ending.

Deffo interested, was in a random league but got bored cos of the lack of interaction with the other managers...

This appeals and is really engrossing.  Something like $20 maybe then payout top 4 I dunno.

Personally, forget about the top teams in the Premier League and go for League Clubs only, surely it'll be more challenging than managing the usual suspects.....boring......
