Jermaine Easter signed for Palace last week from MK Dons.
Have you seen much of him Dwayne?
being honest, Ive never seen much in him, and before Swans signed him never thought he was a championship player really, hasnt he only scored a couple in league 1 this year?
But, 2 champ mansgers have signed him over the last couple of months so he must have something ive failed to see when ive seen him.

Hello Chip Prince - great thread - I've only just come across it. I take it you have an in depth knowledge of League 1, so would you mind appraising my season spreadbets on this division when you have time? I put them on some months ago, but am wondering whether to close some out so would be good to see if you can see any obvious howlers:
My positions are:
Sold Peterboro at 75 (i.e. to get 75 points or less)
Sold Huddersfield at 77
Bought Oldham at 64
Bought Plymouth at 61 (This was before their financial woes came to light so this is the one I am considering closing)
Bought Brighton at 83
Sold Sheff Weds at 74
Bought Southampton at 78
Bought Brentford at 68 (bit worried about this one as well as they seem to have gone off the boil)
Bought Hartlepool at 62
Sold Swindon at 62
Sold MK Dons at 63 (worried, although they are rubbish away from home)
Bought Rochdale at 59
Any views appreciated - at present my positions are marginally down, which is fine, but these things can blow up in your face!
Hi Dung.
When did you sell swindon price? Seems very low. Austin leaving too would be a bonus for you, transfer request handed in today.
Saints looks excellent price and Oldham too. I havent looked at number of games played but most of them look about right to me. Dont personnally rate MK, but they keep winning at home dont they.

Just looking back on where I've been this season so far, decent spread across the north west.
Sheffield Wednesday (x2)
Fleetwood
Altrincham
Barnsley
Radcliffe Borough
Newtown (x2)
Tranmere
Wigan
Oldham (x2)
Rochdale
Huddersfield (x2)
Wolves
Birkenhead (non-league game)
Bury (x2)
Marine
Worcester (Evesham play there)
Vauxhall Motors (x2)
Stockport (x2)
Crewe
Colwyn Bay
Which works out at just under 3,000 miles back and to from Chester!

Yeah I have seen that before, presume it's real..
would you expect to see the words "incredible" that often in a team report?

Umm, I didnt re-read it last night but dont think the English/grammer is great in it throughout, as it probably isnt in mine.
Perhaps it was written by a foreign member of his back-room staff? Lot of effort to make it up I think.
''Remembers its read by footballers'' I was told, ''so don't use too many big words''

lol It does actually seem like a thorough analysis of Newcastle at the time. Fascinating reading for those of us not actually in football.

That is the old style template I used to fill, slightly altered of course. Just on Word and emailed over.
Now we use scout 7 which is just a website ive bodged together a jpeg showing a report, obv its meant to be small and unreadable but gives you an idea of what the set up is, read it as 3 columns.
Starts off with teams and there shapes, set pieces, then looks at def/mid/att/strength/weak, then individual bits etc

Probably thought he leased it, leaving the keys on the front seat is very clever. Amazed the thing was still there.
