While we're on Brighton, noticed that Jake Forster-Caskey is exactly as he sounds, the son of Darren Caskey, and the step-son of Nicky Forster!!

Elliott Bennet play for Brighton, any good? We had 3 bids turned down for him in Jan up to around a million alledgedly.
I am a brighton fan.
Crofts i thought was our worst midfielder last year, even though he somehow got player of the year, and look how he is doing for you.
Bennett is pretty good, our whole midfield is top 6 championship quality, but he doesn't have much pace but a lot of energy. I doubt he is any better than Lansbury. Bridcutt and Dicker are just as good. Kishiev would also walk into most championship sides and he can't get into our midfield as its so good.
Can you stop going to games Chip if they have lost both times? MK Dons was our worst performance of the season apparently!
Thanks
lol, I'm due to see you lot at Rochdale on the 2nd April
Bridcutt, do you rate him? When he played for Stockport he was average I thought, then he disappeared for 12 months now he starts for you over Sparrow. All thoughts welcome.
Bridcutt is class. Signing of the season without a doubt. Might be more to do with Poyet getting the most out of his natural ability though.
Sparrow is shocking! Really suprised as heard good things, and looks awful every game!

Anthony I know you are a Brighton fan but I cannot allow the Kishishev comment to pass
Not a chance that Kishishev walks into most championship sides. In his mid 30s, he played a handful of games for us over 3 years after a great career at Charlton, was loaned out to Div 1 (Leeds) then and when he went onto the list not one Championship team came in
He would fit Brighton's style, playing as a holding midfielder as they build slowly from the back, which means his lack of pace isn't as exposed as it would be in most 4 4 2 formations where the 2 central midfielders need to get up and down more
Hmm, he is very creative. He is too good for league 1, and is extremely fit (in a health way).
But yes, he only fits into a 5 man midfield, so you are right on that. He is retiring at the end of the season to go home

Yep, he is on the England youth ranks. Supposed to be pretty good, I hope we can loan him out. Only had a few bit part games so far, but I am glad he is sticking with us and not joining Forster. However I'd like Diego to leave Charlton for us! He sounds just as good!
I won't be at Rochdale
Supposed to be playing this Blackbelt live tourno here in London on that weekend. We never win there, so expect another defeat
And Kish has been in Bulgaria for the last month, family problems. He is back now though, but regaining fitness.

The Watford fans said Bridcutt was useless there.
Was funny reading their forum after the fa cup game, they couldn't believe what has happened to him since he left them.

Googled Caskey, came across this lol... On a Halesown fc forum... Love the last line
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's super Cas!
At approximately 4.40pm on Monday 25th August 2010, the Yeltz were closing in on a relatively comfortable 3-1 victory over Evesham United. Then, in what was described at the time (although only by me) as a ‘hissy-fit of epic proportions’, Nick Bussey got himself sent off, Evesham had a penalty and with it the chance to make the last few moments very uncomfortable. Indeed the words "Swindon Supermarine" and "capitulation" were possibly on one or two peoples' lips.
But cometh the hour, cometh Darren Caskey. Not long introduced as a substitute to instill a bit of order into the Yeltz midfield, Darren found himself donning the goalkeeper’s jersey and facing down Evesham’s Danny Hodnett who was probably already planning his goal celebration.
What followed will go down in Yeltz folklore. Not only did Darren Caskey save the penalty it was a proper save. The kind that real goalkeepers make. Alright, the ball could have gone nearer the corner but it was firmly struck and yet Darren still threw himself full-length to his left to palm it to safety.
Our trusty glovesman allowed himself the briefest moment of celebration before getting back to the job at hand. But after this minor miracle there was no way past for Evesham and, whilst Nick Bussey was on the naughty chair thinking about what he had done,
Darren Caskey was leaving the Grove pitch secure in the knowledge that he had just joined the Halesowen Town pantheon of legends

Who was our 'best' player @ MK Dons in your opinion? Good to get an unbiased opinion!

kishishev is one of my all time fave players, absolutely love the guy, a true legend but no way does he walk into most champ teams. it'd be pushing it to say he'd walk into most league 1 teams at this point in his career
you just want him pulling the strings in your midfield
You must be abs dev'd that you TURNED poyet DOWN!

Wood is pretty poor to be honest, he doesn't ever link up with the other two. Greer was a good signing, and I was laughing at him for his red card in the play-off semi's and then gets sent off on his home debut too!
Murray is top 3 striker in League 1 with CMS + Hoskins IMO.

Lambert would be instead of Murray for me, but you would have seen far more of him than me so I'll take your word.
But when Lambert is poor, he can look a carthorse...
