Hi guys, just to let people know incase this thread still has any followers, I've not exactly kept things up to date, but from March the 1st I’ll be starting a new role with Bolton Wanderers FC. Its in a similar capacity to what I have been doing, but covering the Northwest Premier league teams for them, and I’m lucky in the respect that there are several teams with Utd/City/Liv/Eve/Wigan/Blackburn all within an hour and several more in the midlands not much further away.
I have been looking to move full-time into this for a fair while, and while this is not full-time, part-time as per, it’s a big step for myself so obviously fairly chuffed.
I have been in contact with them for a few weeks and after doing a trial game for them last Saturday (Blackburn v QPR) I am lucky enough they are happy with what they saw in my reports etc to be given such a chance.
Now relegation is of course a possibility but that bridge will have to be crossed if it happens, and of course I don’t know if how/if I can keep this thread alive, hopefully so, I don’t divulge any info that someone else who attended the same game cannot see etc, and I enjoy keeping this thread for myself to look back at, even if I had no responses, but we’ll see what the future holds
