No idea where it is in relation to the Merrion but the Park Plaza was nice and not too expensive a few months back.

I think Longy would be the person to ask about hotels in Leeds.

Going on previous etap experience if you want really cheap and no frills whatsoever then this place would suffice.

It's literally a place to sleep and shower with no comforts whatsoever but it is undoubtedly cheap.

Park Plaza is pretty cool and not too expensive at all. They did late checkout of 6pm for a tenner as well which was brilliant and almost essential after a big night on the beer with Mr Hopkin.

This, I went past there today and they are advertising rooms for either 25 or 35 quid a night. I cant quite remember what it was. You are a nice 10-12 min walk to the Merrion from there.

Yeah avoid the ETAP hotels unless you like less than basic hotels.

You would be better off finding a B&B or Rhodesy's suggestion if you want to pay £30ish.

During my last visit to Leeds I stayed at the Quebec hotel. Its quite inexpensive and its was a great stay. I loved the ambiance and the hospitality is high rated
