ya sid does come across well, he's a nice bloke by all accounts, dubai and flushy. i was a bit bored and wanted to put the site up for discussion.
Sid, can you name any experiences outside of poker that you have resisted the urge to tilt or steam?
ive got a feeling that you will like this site.

Dear Mr. Greekstine, pleased to hear you gave up weightlifing and moved to Marathon Running> I myself am 5ft 11 at the age of 65 - now amazingly I was 5ft 9in two years ago. You might ask - how did this come about - Well, I had my hip replaced and recovered the two inches I lost.
Now as for me being a crap poker player - that is common knowledge - all of my good play has always been down to other people's bad beats. I've never regarded myself as a professional - just a lucky amateur that enjoys the game. At the moment I swim in the sea every day - my friend Martin Green will verify that for you = as you might think I'm taking the mick + I am in training to swim the channel - which is dogged by problems because of the E U's laws on shipping lanes. ~What you have to understand is that I stop people going on tilt - in essence I get to the root of their fear and help them to overcome it. Steve Chauchan does it in the states - I do it over here - the little success I have had in poker has come through good humour - and luck - As for my clients - they are happy and I leave it to them to decide what they are going to pay - it works out well as I decided some time ago, I wasn't taking anything with me and had enough money to get through. Le't be realistic I'm a coffin dodger and I know it. Hope you do well with youir marathon running - Drink a pint and a half of beetroot juice every day, as this has been proven to increasre any athletes stamina by 15 per cent without them doiing any extra training. If your friend Richard is at day 2 tomorrow let him make himself known to me and I will give him a copy of my book The Truth About Food to give you- will help you in your training. Don't go over doing it, that was my mistake 40 years ago - and how I injured the hip. ~All the very best - think I might have to give up this chat thing - as it could become addictive.
Cheers El Sid.
Why would you need to teach people who are new to poker to not tilt? How do you even know they will tilt?
I think this discussion has made a valid point that maybe you could amend your site and maybe have a clear description of what exactly you are coaching.
Good luck with your swim. Eat a pickle just before you go to bed each night - it will help lactic acid not build up so much in your muscles and hence increase your endurance.

it's pretty obvious why it's important. if you're in a 6 max game with 5 excellent players the only time you'll ever get good winrates will be when someone isn't as mentally strong or in control of his emotions as the other players.

Interesting Greekstine, I set the site up to attract people who need it, or think they need it, it doesn't take long to find out who needs it, and even less time to work out who will benefit. You have to understand that a lot of players give up the day job to play poker, in these unsettled times that can be a big mistake. Most established players have gone through a lot of soul searching and suffering before they could make a living and we all know that the variance has broken a lot of hearts and spirits. Many people put the game before any kind of family life and when they look back they are saddened. Far be it for me to tear the seam of anyones dream, but if a player is honest with himself and his time could be spent on other areas of life dificult decisions have to be made about a game we all love. Temperament, mentality and a word that is frowned upon these days ID take players down a very hard road. There are resonances in the site that will get the right people to contact me - mind over matter is no new idea - Not everyone in the game is happy - especially when they strive for the virtually impossible, I'm overjoyed for our guys who have won bracelets the the wsop - but I also feel for the masses of players who have fallen into debt to play in a game, where the odds against them were thousands to one. Many family lives will have been ruined by this junket, and that's the downside of the game. There's an element of avaraciousness in this game - that must not be overlooked. Barry Greenstine has got it right and so has Peter Eastgate, the boy who knew the meaning of the word enough.
