used to post on here and I'm sure quite a few blondes will have known him personally, he was a reg at the old gutshot, played the circuit a bit and once tried to break the heads up world record

The 2+2 Thailand threads have been pulled for the moment because of speculation about this, he was a regular poster on there.

Wow!

MadYank was one of THE most regular & prominent posters on THM in the early days, & he flitted in & out of blonde before, IIRC, he committed one too many of his familiar outbursts which went a step too far, & became an ex-blonde & member of the Banned Brigade.

He was acutely sensitive to any anti-American stuff, & got tickle-teased non-stop because of it, never failing to rise to the bait, & he was always game for an online barney. Intellectually, he'd dwarf & out-debate any of the current trolls & aggro merchants, & his tussles with"Sleepless in Fulham" (David Young) were epic. By a strange quirk, David Young's last Blog entry, barely 2 weeks ago, debated "murderers & homicidal loners".

Ron joined blonde almost at the very beginning. In "real life", like so many, he was (is, I assume), a different person entirely, being warm, friendly &, on occasion, gracious.

Hard to know what to think of it all, & I make no assumptions.

One of these days a book will be written about some of the extraordinary stories that various blondes have become involved in. Paedophiles, scammers, hero to zeros, business fraud, false Ambassadors, alleged murderers, & goodness knows what else.

Phuket City Police Superintendent Wanchai Ekpornpit told reporters after the press conference that several factors appeared to have contributed to Mr Fanelli’s mental state at the time of the stabbing: he was drunk; his Thai wife had left him and taken their young child back to her native Maha Sarakham province in Isarn. He had also recently lost his Internet connection, he noted.

It is very annoying to be fair, but...

Whatever the real story is here, Thai justice is so fked up that he was always going to prison as soon as the police decided it was him. The way it works basically is they will say to him that if he doesn't plead guilty, he will spend the rest of his life in prison, or to scare him that he will face the death sentence (in reality they would never do that to a westerner). If he pleads guilty he will do less time obviously. He will have been told all this up front, i.e there is zero chance he will get off and made to sign the confession.

The other sick thing is, if he had enough money, there a possibility he could get away scott free if he did in fact do it. GG him in a Thai prison..........
