So - Gala Teesside has decided to make the second 50p/£1 cash table they open each night a 'feeder' table. Once there are 5 or more on the waiting list they open the second table and then as players leave the first table the next name on the list is compelled to move. Actually you can choose not to, but you can't choose to just stay where you are. If you refuse your place on the 'main' table you can't go back on either list for at least two hours.

and also views on what should happen with your accumulated stack on the 'feeder'? I understand that recently a guy who had built a stack of c£500 and when moved he put all but £150 in his pocket... The ruling seems to be that he can sit at the 'main' table as if he was fresh to it and with a minimum buyin (£30 lol)

standard apart from being able to refuse a seat on the main game, normally you have to move, that's the point of a feeder, the clue's in the name

I sat at one of those feeder tables the other night. Bloke next to me was telling me he had a brand new car - looks like a jaguar. Got leather seats and a CD player.

LOL I hate the fact that people can weed off inbetween moving tables but suppose its fair....sort of. Not happy if I stack off to donko in a '1 pair cooler', he moves with all my money, i follow 15mins later and hes grinding 10 bbs.

Not allowed at Luton G. You have to play with what you won on the feeder table.

At Luton G me, Rooks, Middy and Knave sit at feeder table and within an hour the table has like £9k on it.
I'm stuck £500 and I get made to move to the main game which is smaller than the feeder game and no one has more than £300.

So why can't there just be two tables? Waiting lists for each/either/any?

Its called a "must move" game. Why can't uk cardrooms use the correct terminology?
To OP the reason for a must move game is to give the waiting list players a game as soon as possible, while ensuring that the original game doesn't break up.

to ensure that the table that's been open the longest doesn't break. in general the main game will have the most money on so noone wants that breaking
