lets not lose sight of the fact that only 2 weeks ago, almost everyone on this forum was sending Kev messages of support, hoping he could beat his demons. Lets not beat about the bush, he was/is mentally ill. Depression manifests itself in many forms, and I understand that a longing to be loved/to be part of something is a lot to do with it. It is related to self esteem. So here's a guy, low on self esteem being made to feel part of something , a select gang if you like. It probably made him feel good. To expect someone in that position to break a confidence is a hard thing to expect.

I haven't posted on the matter because I will prob be questioned shortly by the police and didn't want to say anything which may interfere with any investigation so in keeping with this whole thread I'll be somewhat vague.

However, I was on the night out with everyone (including the parties involved) the night before the incident took place and the video was subsequently sent to me after. People can know because I'm not hiding from the fact I'm one of those it was sent to.

I'm not proud of the fact I didn't say anything but from a personal standpoint, and I think I speak on behalf of most/all of those it was sent to - I think some of us who were sent the video were shocked by it and just didn't know how to react. It's the first time I'd ever seen something of it's nature and as stupid as it sounds, I thought it was maybe best forgotten.

OK people.  I can understand everyone's point of view on here, but because of the situation I am currently in I'm limited as to what views I can express.  In time, but now is not the time.  I do want to say thank you for the support I have received via various outlets.  It really has helped keep me calm through all of this.  I also want to give apologies to Tikay, Rich and the mods.  Man oh man...what a heap ye've landed in now - and I really do feel bad for the lot of you.

Yes, I am angry with Kev (as well as others) and yes I will get over it.  But I'm not just angry about my own situation.  

I was absolutely shocked over the Brendan issue.  I adored Brendan.  In fact, I'd bet my life not one person who ever met Brendan could say otherwise.  To me THAT was the bigger issue in the grand scheme of things.  I can fight my corner.  Kev can fight his.  Brendan can't fight any corner now.  It was his money and it didn't go to his family as and when it should have.  I know it has since made its way, but would it have got there at all if this hadn't been discovered?  None of us truly know the answer to that, but everyone will have their own opinion.  And my opinion wasn't pretty.

Could you tell me if you ever paid the £250 Laxie, or have you simply and honestly forgotten about it ?  ... how would you feel if all and sundry started slating you because you have grimmed a poor sick little boy.

Difference is myself and Mo have been in constant contact over that.  I made a bid which I intend to honour.  Fund transfers between Ireland and England are not as simple as they might seem unfortunately and transferring to her on a poker site won't help as they won't let her withdraw it.  But fair play...you gave it a go.  Having fun?  At least I can hold my head high and know I didn't steal from a deceased man's family.

Fair enough, you have had almost a year and several visits to the UK in that time to sort it ... I had nearly 2 years to sort it.

Perhaps they were present at the time/night out and may have information as to the circumstances. Don't forget the video might be evidence but it's not the act. The act will be investigated and the video as part of the investigation will be looked into. If the video was investigated and the act looked into as part of this it wouldn't make sense.
