Good evening all,
today i have been to the gargage with my 2002 mondeo. Since buying it around 18 months ago for £3.5k i have spent the same again getting it repaired, i should have cut my losses earlier however kept on in the vein hope 'this will be it'.
Took it to the garage today to get the starter motor replace (gg £190), the friendly and now well dressed mechanic said that there is another problem that will cost me between £900 and £1500 to get repaired.
Me and the missus have had our fair share of problems with 2nd hand cars, so we've decided to go for a new car, we have a very limited budget and are looking for the cheapest new car we can get.
We are looking at <£10k, but I have no idea about cars and would really like some help from my good friends here at blonde if there are any guys out there that know about these things, maybe you work for a car dealer and want the commission for selling me a shed! feel free I'm a mug and will probably buy it!!
I have been looking at the Volkswagen Fox - missus will be driving mainly as my plan is to start getting the train to work, so not worried about looking like a hairdresser!

I have leased previously using Jamjar.com (they no longer do it)
If you have to get a loan to get the car it is usually a better option to lease
