Well that referral was pretty confusing. I was sure he was out when they showed the technologic output, presumably ball was clipping leg and therefore decision on the field stands.

Yeah, Atherton talked about 'clearing up the confusion' about that decision and managed to do absolutely no such thing, and Lloyd then kept going on about how it was sliding down leg, after it's already showed it hitting leg stump. Obviously is the 'just clipping' thing - not sure I agree with that as it happens, think it makes a bit of a mockery of the review process.

Anyway, anyone know if Australia lose a review for that, in spite of being correct in asking for it..? Obviously they shouldn't, but I don't know how they deal with it.

Yeh they lose one. They weren't correct in asking for it as there was no clear error made by the umpire.

yeah they lose one.

If its clipping, its whats classed as reasonable doubt. So whatever the original decision is, stands
