Quick pitch and its swinging. Just about the only conditions they'll get us, and they did

Not sure too many of our numbers 5-11 liked it short, either, which is a technique thing. Don't see many quick pitches these days

come on boys, grind them down!! some good needle out there and is actualy the most fun iv had watching in the whole series so far.

Obviously id rather win every game simple so we win the ashes, but this is actualy much better to watch for the cricket fan when its actualy a contest.

It's a great match.

I hope the pitch flattens and we bat better/Johnson loses his radar. we might be able to chase down something

Just to clarify Tighty, have you pulled an all-nighter, and then are driving off to do a 3-day solo update?!

Just shows how bad England bowled yesterday.
Seems like Englands batting is back to usual form. I don't buy blaming it on swing either, thats what we get week in week out here

Such a joke that Bell is at 6 and Collingwood at 5, think it may be time for Morgan to come in for Collie, i know he is a great fielder but he is in the side to score runs and hasn't done for over a year now.

Agreed, bell needs to bat 5, such a waste him having to bat with the tail, and its definatly time for a change in Colly, be a superb servant to english cricket (maybe still a spot for him in the ODI and T20 side) but i think his test days are over. He did actualy bowl well today though.

We really need strauss to dig in here and try and see it thru the day, he looks very scratchy and could be out any ball. Come on boys, time to step up to the plate!!

It times like this that Colly will score runs. They will be in vain but people always seem to think he scores runs when we need to dig in. I think he scores them when it looks like the game is lost on there is no pressure.
