300-600/50 for another 11 minutes, then a 20 min break.

A round with Tighty

(Power Poker Kinboshi stylee)

Table at start, with chip stacks

12   1   Andriena Nutt 40,000
12   2   Hamid Rowshanaei 25,000
12   3   Micheal Sharkey 5,500
12   4   James Morris 30,000
12   5   Daniel Phillips 80,000
12   6
12   7   Tom Cunningham 50,000
12   8   Ian Bradley 20,000
12   9   Andrew Sherwood 15,000

blinds are 300-600-50

Hand 1
, Button Seat 1. Sharkey shoves for 5,500 in second position. Cunningham calls from a 50,000 stack. All others pass. Sharkey   . Cunningham   . Queens hold on a Jack high board and Sharkey Doubles up

Hand 2 Button Seat 2. Folded to Cunningham who makes it 1,500. Nutt calls in the cut off (8-8 I spotted). Morris in the big blind calls
flop   . Cunningham leads for 3,500. Nutt calls from a 40,000 stack. Morris passes
turn   check check
river   Cunningham bets 10,000 and Nutt gives a long think, eventually calling and mucking when shown   for a thin but successful value bet from Cunningham

Hand 3 Button Seat 3 Rowshanei in Seat 2 makes it 1700. Phillips in the big blind lifts it to 7000. Rowshanei passes pre-flop

Hand 4 Button Seat 4 New player into Seat 6 Thomas McKinney, finalist last month
Cunningham makes it 1,500 utg (I saw a three), Nutt makes it 5600 in mid position, all fold

Hand 5 Button Seat 5 Rowshanei and Morris limp for 600, Kinboshi makes it 3500 on the button. Rowshanei calls out of position, Morris folds
flop  Two Clubs Both check
turn   Rowshanei check calls a 5,000 bet from Phillips
river  two hearts check check Rowshanei wins with   , Phillips mucks

Hand 6 Button Seat 6 Morris raises to 1600, Mckinney calls, Cunningham over-bet shoves the small blind, both pass

Hand 7 Button Seat 7 Misdeal. Nutt looks disgusted. Re-deal Sharkey makes it 1600, all pass

Hand 8 Button Seat 8 Kinboshi raises to 3200, all pass. Bradley reminds him the blinds are 300-600 and tells him "to raise more next time if you are scared of getting a call"

Hand 9 Button Seat 9 Morris raises to 1600, Kinboshi calls, Cunningham calls, Rowshanei is priced in to call in the big blind
flop   Two Clubs . All check to Cunningham who bets 4500, all fold

Thank you for following A Round With Tighty. Next time join me at GUKPT Luton with Avi Darvish and Chemical Ali getting it all in for 1000x bb each in level One with A-J and K-Q off

chip count on Peter Wigglesworth pls

10k for Mr Wigglesworth.

As I went to get this, I spotted an interesting hand on Table Keys. m3boy had raised to 3.2k over the top of 2 limpers, only to see Tasos Grigoriou shove for 17k from the SB and James Keys flat-call from the BB. I got there with m3boy in the tank and everyone listening to Chinese Frankie vent over his Aces getting cracked. Tasos must have got fed up with either m3boy tank or Chinese Frankie talk as he wandered off to check out a nearby table! Frankie jumped on this straight away and the floor was called to rule as to whether Tasos' hand was dead or not. Floor ruled it was live but warned Tasos about walking away. m3boy eventually passed A-Ko and it was Tasos at risk.

Tasos:

James:

The board ran out an uneventful two spades to send Tasos to the rail. Keys now has upwards of 60k.
