Villain is a competent but not great satellite reg who we have 2k hands on, not that it's that relevant but he's 19/12 with a steal of 36%, I've got one note on him that pertains to this hand that reads - capable of shoving 10bbs e.g avg stack nr end of sats from EP with as weak as k8dd. Villain is the cut-off in this hand.

As this hand is dealt avg stack is 17k (EDIT: OOPS OUR STACK IS 20275 BEFORE POSTING)  we're 11/59 with 32 seats, so not in fold to seat mode by any stretch but we can basically maintain our stack, steal a pot or so a round and wait for comfortable chipping up spots.

1k/2k/200 ante (not sure when it goes to 1.5/3k)

In the past this was a spot where I rarely thought before hitting the call button, but lately I’ve been trying to avoid spots like this where although it’s pretty clear I’m ahead of the villain’s range (which I’d estimate to be close to 22+,A8s+,K8s+,QJs,JTs,ATo+,KTo+,QTo+, I have 60% equity against this) it’s a spot where I think folding has some merit. Am I a massive nit for folding or even giving it strong consideration here? FWIW I think i ditch pocket eights and nines here due to the extra number of broadway combos that I flip against and I’m fairly certain away from the table i might consider folding jacks, but in reality I never fold jacks (which has 64% against the same range)

Absolutely snapping this off. If he's a competent reg he should be shoving way wider than your suggested range if everyone behind has average stack aswell.

11/59 is 30K or so?

That's why I didn't bother answering.

Kind of essential information.

Fwiw this looks like a fold to me unless we're <10 bigs or >30ish bigs.

If we've got 30k I let it go.

11/59 isn't gunna be a lot, doubt its more than 25k.

I'd have to have over 60k to fold this

Seems a fold to me, we should be waiting for a better spot to get it in with.

Ugh 20k stack. This makes it a really tough spot.

How fast are the levels? Turbo or non turbo?

Assuming non turbo then I pass. There's going to be plenty of good opportunities to get it in first with either the best hand, FE or both.

Turbo I maybe have to do a call but I'm far from certain.
