It seems as though 7-4 o/s mania is sweeping through the forum like wildfire. As an online mtt player i'm curious to find out how many players have specifically started playing 7-4 o/s just so that they can post a screen shot or hand history showing they were successful.
post edit comments - for the record i've never specifically played the hand to see if i could win with it during a multi table tourney. There have been numerous occasions where i've raised with hands of that nature knowing i could get away with stealing the blinds but i can't ever remember whether it was 7-4 o/s or not.

I am resolutely playing what I will forever know as the "bankroll killer" hand but have yet to win a bean with it

As Flushy (who was watching & learning) will testify, it worked for me in Helsinki. My Muppet opponent thought his AQ was good, huh!

I wonder if there are any players out there who have been busted by 7 4 playing blondites on a number of occasions who are now scratching their heads wondering if there is part of some book they forgot to read or something.

I've definitely had someone play 4 7 against me which had me wondering what was going on - just couldn't put him on it! it would be very funny to think we are completely confusing some people - they probably think we are norwegian.

they probably think we are norwegian. When someone types in the '47? ?' after getting busted we should reply 'Ya'.

Got beaten by a guy playing 4 7 off, put "that's the full Brian Wilson" in the chatbox and got no response the other day. Have tried to play 7 4 several times but I don't think I have enough faith yet. Couldn't win with any of them.
