I would like to wear two watches like a football ref but think I would be mocked by society!

Still having second thoughts about man utd. Will make the win all the sweeter!

Soviet, give up on the betting to get the watch, Beaverbrooks have interest free credit deals on all the time, 20% deposit and 3 years interest free on the balance, you could get that one for under £30 per month after a deposit of £250, you'd hardly miss the monthly payment.

Hahaha, GTFO with the sensible ideas Cheesy

[  ] taking on debt to buy jewellery is a sensible idea

Good point Tank, I've never actually thought of interest free credit as debt though but I guess it is, if I am buying something and interest free is available I will always take it unless a cash discount is available.

OK so my next bet is probably a terrible one but I am so desperate to gambol I cant help it.

Going for Man Utd at 1.6

I shouldnt really put this on, away from home is a big negative and tbh i think fulham are a solid team that will do well this year, however lets put that all to one side and go for the short priced favourite!!

£180.25 to win £102.74.

ALL ABOARD!

Ha ha, loving the fact you are putting £180 on a selection that you dont really fancy.
Hope this wins to make this an epic thread

I was discussing this with someone the other day.  Are you not actually better off with interest free credit as it means you have the cash in the bank in the meantime (although obviously earning piddly interest nowadays) and inflation will mean the later payments are technically at a discount?

I have had this watch for 10 years. if you talking about reliability and accuracy then this is probably as good as it gets. (imho of course)

No batteries to replace (So no risk of damaging water proof seals) - virtually indestructible - ( one piece titanium cae with unscratchable sapphire glass) accurate to around +/- 5 secs per year - easy read in the dark -  affordable.
