Agree with james that its a bet/fold on the river but I'm not betting very big, $25 or so. I don't expect to really get bluffed here at all. Really really gross if he does shove but I think you gotta call just 'cos a small bet might induce a scared 2 pair to surmise that with that betsize you never have a straight so he can jam worse for value

OK - i thought i was going to get abuse for even posting so that's a good start - it wasn't straight forward......................

4bet pre is standard, esp as this is a button raise and blind 3 bet, you get this dynamic alot in rush. I 4 bet my air here  quite often and therefore always 4 bet premiums.

James - the raise size, i have worked on this alot, and i (mostly) like folds here, as I am bluffing more than have it. I find this size works well  and 25, daft as it seems gets peels quite often (which is great when i have KK, but less so when i dont)

So to the hand, the peel is often AK, but as discussed above people do peel with all suited connectors (rarely non broadway pairs), and sometimes QQ JJ to see a non A flop prior to getting it in.

therefore we get to this hand and the river. I just couldn't put him on the T - and if he checks it then fair play to him.

I think he jams AA pre - although some people do flat so i was a little concerned.
AK - well case cards are out so less likely

so I tanked forever. I decided to jam  (mini over bet)

do we like this or not?  - i convinced myself - pretty much the reverse of dans comment (well, purporting to the villains thoughts) - lots of 2 pair hands are out there and might just get curious and if he has AA then i should have gone bust anyway!)

I can 100% see validation for this play, and in a vacuum might be best but I think its kinda horrible from a game theory angle, we cant even count this as a merge cos the only better hand we make him fold is AA

I think Id make this play occasionally myself but I would imagine its pretty -EV

FWIW - i think rush FR plays like most 6 max tables as 5 people insta fold their hands without a 2nd thought

lol yeah just read that back and its probably one of the worst posts I've ever made

Looking at it again I bet the turn. With two flush draws out there I can't see him checking the straight very often. As played though once he checks the river I would bet and I wouldn't really expect to get jammed on ever. I bet $25.

i like a overbet, he prob has 2 pair kinda hand and if he doesnt hes going to fold.

if we bet small he calls with 2 pair+ and folds underpairs/1 pair kinda hands.

if we overbet there is like 0 10's in our 4bet range and if we were going for "thin" value with likw AK we'd bet 1/2-3/4 pot.
