So Jake Cody is heads up with Nichlas Mattsson with a big chip lead.

One of these two men will take the title and here are the counts as the two prepare to battle to the title.

Death or glory! Let’s get it on!

Jake Cody – 4,845,000
Nichlas Mattsson – 1,920,000

Watched and saw the hole cards for every hand of the final and have to say Jake impressed me immensely.

Showed how to win a poker tournament without many hands. To be fair Kristoffer Thorsson was his match in many respects and that should have been the heads up game.

There was one amazing hand where Jake took on Thorsson - four-betting him light before Thorsson five-bet shoved with very little when they were both deep stacked. It was one of the best hands I've seen on a big final table, despite it not going to showdown.

But Jake really gave a masterclass of poker and  he seems like such a level headed guy. I expect him to be a world star, in fact in many respects he already is.

Triple crown next?

Truly sick...wp Jake Cody.

Shows how big an era this is for British poker. Jake definately at the forefront flying the flag high. Big win at the WSOPE would be insane...
