Welcome back to DTD

I love DTD when it is quiet, I can get loads done. Strangely enough I mentioned this to Nick Whiten who hates it when it is quiet. Go figure!

Anyway, play begins at 2.45pm...until then.......

Some information about our Day 2 field

Jonathan Titcombe. From Swindon. "5toneface" online, staked by James Williams. 15th is his best result in a DTD Deepstack

Christopher Brion Unknown to me, unknown to results databases. We'll change that today.

Bodo Wagner 4th in a recent £300 at the GUKPT Vic Summer Series

Simon Deadman . LAG maniac, one of the best chip-getters you can find. Yet to convert a massive stack into a top result in these but its coming....

Lawrence Gosney. WSOP Bracelet winner from Leeds. Famously loose style, very active, in a lot of pots, calls light a lot. A monster with chips, if he can keep them

Chris Roadknight No, I don't know either, sorry

Mark Attridge
No database form to speak of, but often features in updates on this event with big chip stacks. Another one with all to prove today

Martin lawton 25th is his best result in this but has form across the country. Won 2008 Xmas Cracker event at Luton and lots of fessie results at Southend

Kevin Pearce. Kevin is what Duran Duran would look like if they stayed up all night playing poker, working as a Golf Pro during the day. Finalist in this two months ago

That's the top ten chip leaders coming back today....

some of the rest...

Vincent Price. No not the Horror actor but young lad who shipped the £500 Walsall Summer Series main event for £19k two years ago

Rana Gurnam
Experienced and successful tournamnet pro from Cardiff. Three five figure scores in the UK in the last three years

Micky Wernick. Again, Micky goes deep. Prolific grinder with a hugely successful long term record. Many ups, many downs. but always there or thereabouts

Sean Quinn. 2nd Day 2 in a row for the Irishman from Swindon

Peter Wigglesworth
Winner of this earlier in the year in the "deal of the century". Becoming a regular at events across the country, and much imporved record in 2010

Alan McBride
. Lucky from Luton. Steady and solid player, great 2009 including GUKPT final, poor 2010 but back to form with a big 2nd at the Vic recently

Paul Gardener.
Swampy from the North East. A successful fixture on the circuit for many years

Yucel Eminoglou
. The Mad Turk from Walsall. Mad, turkish. Sometimes a delight, depending how the mood takes him.

Anon. Often represented at these deepstacks but has only once made a final table Which is just as well for head-scratching updaters afraid of annoying him and his relationship with the CSA

Chris Roadnight is a Notts circuit regular. Plays medium stakes online, pretty solid player and an all around nice guy.

Gl to him and obviously the golfish

Jim Moult is out.

Tariq Arees just knocked out Steve Wright with K-K vs Q-8 all in preflop. Board ran out 9-K-6-6-7 to send Steve home in the last level of the day.

Mark Attridge just crippled TommyC when they got it all in on a flop. Attridge had and Tommy had two spades, which missed on the and turn and river. Tommy has about 25k left I think...

Steve Wright not out Smiley That was guy to my left with 8 8 vs k k, am in 18th position with about 67k
