I had a job in Sheffield doing promotions and gradually began to work my ladder up there where I was making a sick amount in commision. I quickly paiiiiid the debt off and started playing live pokersss, I probably had a 3/4 bi bankroll but played pretty good an obv ran quite well. I got some moniez together but I was still a loser online, I';d deposit 50$ here 100$ there and it would just disappear, usually playing 45mans or something. I continued to play/talk with friends and I think I was actually realllllly good compared to the online results etc I had.
A friend staked me for some 6max cash and after 100k hands or so I was a pretty good online player
I wasn;t making tonnes, but I was improving all the time and insta surrounded myself with like minded people who were playing ona similar level and trying to improve. I played a few tournements on different accounts and won somewhere around 20k in X amount of tournaments with a few close ships. 65th in mini ftops m/e aava10 on j72 for chip lead, I can still remember little things like that, its quite weird really.
At this time I was still playing live cash and making a really nice amount, I never worked out my bb/100 or my hourly rate but it was def very high and whatever game I was playing in I was one of the bigger regs as I started to get myself a little bit of a bankroll together.
I then began playing HU sngs where I really started to find what I believed to be the nut game for me. I was winning at a very good rate over a decentish sample size and then I started talking to Greeky online. He asked me about joining his up and coming stable and I thought why not. It gave me the chnace to play tournaments that I couldn't handle the variance with on my own dime. I played like 150 games maybe for him and it all ended in bricks/bubbles/small cashes where I genuinely ran terrible. Greeky gg'd his roll at DTD and I was really gutted that it was ocming to an end as anybody who knows him knows that he is a top, top guy.
I had put all my bankroll into other things now so now was "poker bust" I was approached by a friend to start playing HU cash for him and although I was hesitant at first as I had only played HU SNG's I eventually agreed as I wanted to spin some money up.
I started to get coaching off said friend and his friend who also now has 25% of all my action (I keep 50% and 100% of my live action) and they were really good coaches, they ironed out all my weaknesses/leaks and gave me confidence by telling me how good my strengths were. Fast forward a few months and I am winning at 28bb/100 at a decent sample size and about to move up to 200/400nl.
They have added to their "stable" (I was the first one) and I give the new guys alot of help doing sweat sessions, answering hand history queries etc and the two stakers/coaches have expressed a desire for me to join them in managing/fnding/coaching the stable as I move up the stakes and they add. I am also coaching 2 micro/small stakes players as I believe my analyitcal approach to poker can really help some guys out who play 10-100nl. I see so many people doing basic, fundamental mistakes and I enjoy helping people as I know not too long ago at all I was in their position.
Greeky now has money, and the makeup I was in/which was wiped (or so I believed) is now there. I want to clear it, he knows this and I know he wants me too. Obv. Its actually a pretty similar situation to his deal with The Poker Farm where all sides would just like it cleared. I guess if I did clear it it would give me a chance of binking a few $$$$ too. I hope we can come to some arrangement

Was playing in a cash game on Saturday night in Gibraltar. I was up X amount after a few hours and one Spanish guy in particular was donating. I don't really think he knows what he was doing and was pretty terrible.
He limps the C/O and I iso raise with
on the button, he calls.
Flop is
He check calls
Turn is
He check calls
River is
He checks and I check behind quickly turning over my two pair.
He tosses his cards into the muck and kind of flings them, I see he has the
and go to tell him that he had a flush almost trying to get his cards before they hit the others.
One guy got very very angry at me and told me that it was his responsibility to know his hand.
Thoughts?
Was he in the pot? Does he stake you?
If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then fine, if not tell him to stfu.
If he just threw the cards into the muck you have no responsibility to announce his hand.
If he tabled his hand, you should tell him he's won.

The guy was an old Spanish guy wearing rags as clothes and didn't even know what hand he had. I guess he thought he had a straight draw on flop and didnt check to see if he had a club. I don't particuarly want to win like that against guys like this. I was talking to Alex over dinner one night and playing fish and playing drunk people who donate money and also against people who cant afford to lose the money and I think since the conversation I subconciously care far more than I should do.

I think what you did is fine mate, as long as you wouldn't do it when it was him in a pot vs someone else (which i know you obv wouldn't). If you chose to keep quiet, thats fine too, after all his hand did hit the muck.

Just walked int Spain takes abotu 6 minutes and went for a Tapas with my flatmate Luis (legend) first time I've ever had Tapas and really enjoyed it. Weather was nice, like 14 degrees at night so really nice to just walk the streets, feels like being on holiday still.
Watched like the first match I have since I got to Gib. I used to have a season ticket for Newcastle (14 years) and went to most aways too, even when I was at Uni. I now don't even watch huge games which really is a shame. Enjoyed sitting and watchign the match over a few beers, David Luiz and Drogba were incred.
