Went back to sleep at 9am, woke up at 3pm looked at app and registration was closed for then2k. Was pretty angry.

Didn't shower, didn't go outside, tilt ordered lamb from restaurant downstairs. Internet was pretty sketchy, went down 3 handed in the $215 weekly 6nax. Ended up coming 3rd for 6.5k, so a decent day after all!

Tomorrow got to check out early and can't move rooms for 4 hours.

Two big football matches tomorrow. Newcastle vs Sunderland and then Liverpool v the saints most importantly. Looking forward to railing those then grinding online afterwards.


Have a massage booked for 1:30 on Monday afternoon, then will register EPT main very fresh and ready to crush hopefully!

No real sweats today, we went to watch Newcastle vs Sunderland and then Manchester United vs Manchester City.

Came back and one of our horses wrote to us that his girlfriend had just committed suicide and he had to leave his remaining tables. The fact he would even write that to us shows massive respect, but it was on my mind all session. Its so easy to get caught up in poker and not think about people that are important in your life. I speak to my parents almost every day on facetime and I would say I have averaged speaking to them around 4x/week for the last 6 years or so living away from home. I have a lot of friends who don't speak to their parents or friends, I'm not trying to preach what to do or what not to do, but if you haven't spoken to your brother, sister, father, daughter or whatever else in a while why not call them tomorrow and just have a chat and ask them how they are?

I don't know more details about her death, nor do I want to "find out" or enquire or asking any kind of question. We will help him get over it as best as possible and won't write more about it, hope this wasn't offensive writing about it or anything, last words simply RIP.

Session wasn't very good, some miserable runs, but had a good time grinding with Elmerixx for the first half of the session and Fedor for the second who finished with a 50kish stack at 25/50.

Tomorrow is EPT main, looking forward to playing EPT main event tomorrow, really hoping for a good performance.

People who seem aware of stack management (making sure they have change rather than playing the stack sizes) tend to be weighted towards valuebets than bluffs in my experience as they are expecting to get the chips back.

Not sure on the emphasis when we can't have much of an idea about the rest of his chips or yours for example. If you have 25k in 5x 5k chips that might change things for a brief example

Woke up, got small breakfast, registered half way through level 2 (skipped massage at hilton) had pretty solid day all day, didn't 3bet once the entire day, played one very, very fun hand against Theo Jorgenson.
