Bad news mate, but I think you gotta pay up the extra 480 or whatever. It doesn't automatically follow that "brick" = wcoop main so I think you ought to have clarified that, and as far as i can tell if the guy won that 888 10k then he would have sent u 10%. Sucks because it was an honest mistake, but it was your mistake

yeah im really unsure, living in gib for the last 2 years I've never been allowed to log on to 888 because of the laws they have, so have no idea what the schedule is etc, also never would think a 10k on a random site would be on same day as WCOOP main and with just 100 people selling for "the big one" "the main" etc i just figured it was some silly aussie slang.
More than happy to pay the extra though if thats what people say but obv wouldnt have bought 10% in a 10k on the same day as WCOOP main where first place was probably like 4x the buy in.

If it makes you feel any better mate, I'd have been exactly the same of you, could never imagine 888 would run a $10k tourne on a Sunday night called the brick
However, not what you want to hear but I think you got to pay as well - sort of backed up by having no doubt he would have paid you if binked from his chat logs. I guess tho, if I was in his shoes and not short and realised it was all genuine I might have taken the half way options as a gesture.

Yeah it was a ridiculous thing to exist and I can totally see how this happened, but you know what they say about assumption

How come you don't get your words and spellings mixed up on 2+2 but you do here. I would go 7.5 but if he insists flick it him as goodwill/ matey gesture

If there was markup, it probably would have been a good gesture to waive that, but as it was at spot, I think you owe the extra.

Looks like owing the 5%
If it was a smaller buy in 7.5% may have worked but it is a big chunk

Is a "brick" a slang term for 5k or 10k?

This tournament is so absurd. Literally can't find anything about it except a thread on p5s confirming that it was a real tournament. Its gone from the lobby on 888 now. No idea how many runners it got.
