No. I would recommend HUsng.com great site an great content.
Really feel like my professional path is accelerating. Spent a day today with one of the most interestIng guys in the industry. Steve mcloughlin from pokertracker. Great great guy who is so good at selling and knows anybody who is anybody in poker. Sony about 9 hours with him today, we ended up doing a love coaching together than went down really well.
We went out for dinner afterwards and Jason Herbert would have had a field day. Really interesting. Of anybody has saw Shaun deeb getting punked. Steve is te guy shaun rings to sort things out.
It's funny that all these new training websites are coming out at the moment, it's just going to be so difficult to gain critical mass, I've no idea on the numbers these sites have of subscription members. I do think it's v v small though. Last week in y coaching seminar (live) there was 1069 live attendants which is just breathtaking for me. My last video had 9400 views, my AMA has 58,000 views.. these numbers just really make me both proud as a coach and in awe of how pokerstrategy formed to make suh a successful company when so many others have tried and failed.
I've now got full ownership of the English business unit, Whih basically means anything b2c related is via me from one extent to another. There's some exciting things conIn up in te pipeline and look forward to the healthy competition from all of the other guys. To succeed in 2013 you really need to study and heavily immerse yourself in poker so the more options you have the better.
Downside is that I don't get to play much poker which of course Isnt great as I heavily believe in myself as a player and for a long time wanted to prove to everybody, now I'm happy to try and giq.
Really really encourage people to go to monte Carlo at dtd. Will be there for a week ish and so many blondes is love to meet fr a drink/meal so please let me know here

Yes tis true, Pleno is kinda my boss at PS.com.
In Blondepoker terms, does post count beat date registered? I beat him in one but not the other.
IMO concentrate on the career, the nature of your work, especially with it being a training site, means your game will improve just by the company you keep and the work you do, so its the better end of a win-win.

So, I haven't really been that active as far as playing goes recently. I haven't grinded properly for probably 2 months, I had a lot of things to sort out and the new role I took at work meant I was just generally v v busy and didn't have the time for poker. When I did have the time for poker, I was just absolutely shattered and would have fallen asleep really quickly/played terrible.
I used to have a lot of ambition, I wanted to be the "Best in the business" or "Make $100k in 12 months" or "Be the best reg in the world" now I am basically a recreational player. I play poker when I can, if I can't play for a couple of months then thats how it is, but generally I will play if and when I can. "Recreational" is the new word everybody in the industry is using to describe fish, they think that if they call them recreational then it isn't an insult, but it really is just a name they say so they don't think they are acting out of line. Hopefully I can put a different stance to the "recreational" term and don't lose all of my money, but for now, I'm happy to deposit, play, smile and enjoy. I think I play good, so hopefully more than not I will end up with more money in the account than what I started with, but if I don't then it's not the end of the world.
Continuing on the "recreational" route, I'll probably look to continue playing live tournaments around the world which help me 1) Get out and see places and 2) Play some fun live poker, which I do generally enjoy and get quite a lot out of it. As I've mentioned previously, its v v likely I'll be returning to England in April to play the Monte Carlo.
As far as online goes, I really have tried lots of sites, almost every site I've just never wanted to grind or enjoy playing that much, but when I play on Microgaming its like another world, the software is crazy good, the cards are super sexy and the players are action players. What do I mean? Well on sites say, ipoker the regs are incredibly nitty and games are slow, on Stars the fish are pretty nitty, likewise the regs, on Microgaming, the regs want to go to war and the fish aren't going to limp fold their money to you. On the 2p2 Microgaming Regs thread there is literally dozens of HU4ROLLZ arguments, everybody absolutely hates everybody and its every man for himself.
So like I said, I managed to get some volume in this weekend..

Because I'm not playing as much and I'm a total degenerate, myself and ImFromSweden are staking quite a few guys, mainly playing 100-200nl. They are really improving super quick, 2 of the guys are 2 of the best/most well known guys on UK poker circuit, trying to get to grips with cash, one is a v v good German theoretical player who just needs a little guidance in the right direction and the other is a young UK guy who is fundamentally very good. V V confident in this group of players and trying to spend as much time as possible with them over the next few months and hopefully can guide them up the stakes, its a really fun challenge and will blog about the ups and downs of it without going into too much detail.

Hey dude.
I have a question about IveyPoker. I assumed it would just be a poker site that you played on but it looks like its going to be a training site.
Does this make them competitors to your company and who are the other competitors in your industry. I read a lot of stuff especially from Barry through pokerstrategy and its always good stuff. I know you have said before that you have given away millions of $50 to players and assume its some sort of affiliate scheme. Are you the market leaders?

Hey,
Although what you said was our business model, we actually are a poker school, although still of course affiliate more players than anybody else in the world. I'm not sure on exact numbers of other sites, in my weekly coaching I get 1000+ people usually, I'd imagine a bunch of our "competitors" don't have that many members. We are the clear market leaders.
I have a v v good relationship with Phil and the other guys at runitonce.com, great guys, great site and I'm positive it will do well, however because of where we current stand will never really be seen as "competition" and they don't see it that way either. IveyPoker is interesting, they have a great roster of players, its however very very difficult to make content without being boring or being able to put what you think into words, also top players get lazy and don't make videos, so from a purely training site perspective I'm not sure how much legs it has, however from an all round perspective and a chance for them to open lots of different draws they are doing a great job at building a cool team.
Competition is good, we have a similar stance to PokerTracker, we want you to try out the other sites (see HM for PokerTracker) and we are confident if you try us and try our competitors then you will come back to us as we have a lot more than just "videos"
Barry is a legend ofc.

Oh right. My days of online poker are a dim and distant memory and a lot of it whooshes me but I do take am interest. I have friends in the affiliate game for years who never need to do a days work again but just moan about how competative it is now and earning million + a year is becoming hard.
Hope you get for the Monte Carlo and think you would be good in the cash game stream. I have you Dreenie and JB as suggestions so far

We're very good friends, basically the only guy I really discuss poker with now. He still plays, but not too much, also working on stuff with me as well as getting ready for real life.
Here's a pic of both of us + KTU geeking it up and studying:
