You'd also be v surprised how much guys are making. There's a very modest uk guy who a lot of you will know who is up 500kmthis year so far from mid stakes. I'm just loud and blog and really shouldn't be but there are tones of guys who are making really really a lot. The biggest hurdle is motivation.

I woke up today at 3pm and now im in bed watching X factor auditions. I could have played 4k hands today and had Friday night off but instead I'm being lazy now.

As a side note for a poker player playing full time cash games for a living and NOT making 100k then there is something probably very wrong. Either they are not a winning player and thus a degenerate gambler or they don't have the motivation.

Its really not, maybe you just dont get online cash.

Im not talking about guys who are playing 25nl and supporting their families in Bulgaria.

With a very standard rakeback deal you will earn more than 70k a year very easily and of course if youre professional its because you think you can beat the games.

Also tell me any online cash game grinders that are broke and there will be 200 mtt guys. Its a steady earning and the variance evens out a lot easier and quicker than in MTTs.

But like anything, I always am prepared to put my money where my mouth is. In terms of MTTs with the SCOOP bets vs all the best players in the world and with this where Im willing to bet upto 50k on my side.

I reguarly post transparent information all the time in the blog, in fact perhaps I post too much but I thought thats what a blog is for and if somebody disagrees with something Ill ever try to understand why and then concede and agree with the or bet. Its pretty silly really heh.

From this week short stackers wont be allowed on stars. IE if they buy in for 50bbs and double up they cant sit out and buy back in again for 24 hours. GREAT GREAT news as these are the guys you wont have that big an edge over because they will play perfect with their stack sizes and are far more experience than us full stackers are.

Weird thing is that supposedly the Russian Pokerstrategy (jjajjajaj come at be red dog) have devised charts from things Ive said in coachings and videos and now guys at all stakes are using these charts as their standard hand charts for pre flop. Pretty crazy. And when I give out so much info in videos and coachings previously I didnt play on stars but now I do and everybody knows my screen name that makes things a little difficult.

If they break even and play "professionally" IE 30 hours a week etc then they should make 70,000 from 200nl, this is before any profits. Its not my word against yours or whatever its just about looking at standard rake amounts and rakeback amounts.

There is so much to consider though, win rate being the main one.

As I posted in the thread earlier if you play 200nl and played 35 hours a week (less than a full time job) and you win at 2bb-100 (super super achieveable) then you make 70,000 PROFIT BEFORE RAKEBACK

I wouldnt consider guys playing 50nl outside of university etc to be professional.

FWIW I have never made £100k in a year from poker.  Some people's full time hours are a bit less than those that are young and no kids mind.

Good day poker wise. Played 4000 hands with 1500 profit. Games were pretty good.

Busted otb of big 55 with 97 v 55 on 975 for chip lead and then lost cl pot in 22 cubed aq v aj aip. OI mtts.
