I think this is the most brutal session Ive had in my life. Definitely 2013, maybe I ran bad vs a fish HU in 2009 or something, but today was literally so so bad. Most of the stuff cant be put into perspective it was just like dozens of 40bb pots with 1-3 outers on the river.

Here is the most brutal stuff summed up in some weaktights.

Std KK v AA in really std spots vs aggro villains

http://weaktight.com/6134075
http://weaktight.com/6134072
http://weaktight.com/6134065

76 v k7 on 776xK

http://weaktight.com/6134071

AJ v AA on AJ24

http://weaktight.com/6134066

AA v KK on j242K lol

http://weaktight.com/6134064

600bb pot with KQdd vs A4o and Tx on t25dd and we run it twice and I lose both 3 handed

http://weaktight.com/6134068

Thats around 3800 worth of pots.

http://gyazo.com/be99b6c43dce292bc60b49cc150788fb

I played almost 7.5k hands and played for around 8 hours. I was so close to getting even for the day then would get a ridiculous cooler. So, So demoralizing.

Why is it that people who have an understanding of variance don't think it should ever happen to them ?

This is pretty ridic Pads, you're playing for a living now, you play 5k+ hands plus everyday, this sort of thing is going to happen.

SNE is going to be so mentally tough if this is how you deal with a bad day, if you can't manage that side of it personally I don't think it's even worth attempting, not because you won't do it but because of how it will effect you.

Probably shouldn't bother posting this as I've already had a go at you about moaning at joke std stuff but wtf will post anyway Tongue

It's fine to moan, it's your diary and you can do what you want, just your attitude to this sort of stuff needs working on imo, feel free to tell me to gtfo though.

Mental game coach?

The 400nl rush session while I was there was probably grosser.

Huh I keep playing sne pace but just frustrated at running bad. Isn't it just the same as you posting a 60/40 and writing zzz? I've played hundreds of thousands of hands this year I'm just saying this specific 10k hands were the craziest in terms of set ups. I can just not post about them though whatever, it's jut easier for me to do when I'm playing such high volume but il manage! I was just trying to post everyday what I planned to do, what the results are and what my emotions were. Ie two days ago ecstatic to be break even and yesterday gutted. I thought that's what a blog was for, what am I supposed to write about?

I don't mean this as a dig to you Monda but just writing hands played and profit per day would feel dull to me and I want to actually write about it so I can look back.

Just seems bit ridic to be like, this is unbelievable, can't believe this is real, this is so demoralising etc etc

What do you expect to happen ?

You had one bad day, that's it.

I be very surprised if I ever posted in my diary: winning day, winning day, winning day, b/e day, then one losing day equals this is a joke.

I agree it was dull, no offence took, that was what I want to look back on though, not oh noes had KK v AA twice in one day, this is unbelievable, sure seems real.

My point isn't about the content of your diary, more the actual point your making, which seems a bit dumb, which you clearly aren't.

I actually think these guys are trying to be helpful, Patrick.

If you plan to play, say, 300 days next year on the SNE thing, you ARE going to have a fifty or hundred days like that, you just are.

I don't give a monkeys if you have a chunter, nowt to do with me or anyone else, but if you are going to have a lot more days like that - and you are - personally, I think you need to find a way to handle them. It should not trouble you one bit, it is routine, standard, normal everyday stuff. It matters not whether you blog them or not, it matters that you don't get down about them. To you., not me or anyone else. Play another 10 years, & you'll have a thousand days like that.......

We are entitled to get down now & then, but as a Pro, swings & swongs should not bother you, in truth. You are - or should be - fortified by the belief that in the long run, you'll win.

Not much chance you'll agree with me, but I believe that strongly.

Blogging about them is fine - drill down a level though, to what you actually feel. It should be a fly on a cows arse. Swish, gone.

Anyway, enjoy.........Wink

I feel that if I have those days and don't play for a week or 3 days it will negatively effect me if I play these days and then keep playing huge volume the next days and it doesn't change my game it won't effect me then there is no problem? I like blogs that really do just let out all of the emotion and say exactly he they feel. But I have 2 blogs on two sites (2p2 not ps!) and instead of copying and pasting I can give them the emotion and this the facts, np.

But that misses the point completely!

Yes, blog honestly, of course you should.

I'm thinking a level deeper. The feeling so bad thing, after a bad day.

You should not feel like that, thats the point. You gotta find a way to cope with scores of days like that next year, and it ain't gonna be much fun if you have a curly lip after ervery bad day, is it?

It is NOT about Blogging honestly at all.

Yeah that is a good point, I guess what helps me is putting it all in writing. Like 2 years ago if I had a run like yesterday (which was really extraordinary) then I wouldnt play for a week and feel awful the next day. Now I really dont care.

Spending those 10-15 minutes post session to just get it all down in words I think takes it all off my chest and I feel no further emotion, which for SNE when Im going to have to get "back on the horse" the next day every day is hopefully going to be a good coping mechanism.

Nah, we are not getting there, lol.

Why do you need a "coping mechanism", thats the point? It is part of your daily job. No Pro anywhere, ever, can win every day.

If it helps, sure, write it down.

Honestly, I don't give a toss if you moan all day. But my point is that you should not feel like that after a losing day. If you play 300 days in 2014, how many will be losing days? 100? 75?

Feeling demoralized 75 times a year is pretty.....well, demoralizing!

We are not on the same wavelength, clearly.

Best of luck with it, anyway.
