Have a strange fascination with plane crashes. More in a fear way, than a sick way. This one makes feel ill every time I've saw it.

There is some well known celebrity who was seeing a therapist for fear of flying only for the therapist to die in a plane crash. I can't remember who it was though.

As an aside, it is an oft-trotted piece of dark trivia that Seth McFarlane, of Family Guy, American Dad and The Oscars fame, was due to have been on the plane that went into the North Tower on September 11th but missed his flight by ten minutes.

Also Mark Wahlberg (in Ted with Seth McFarlane) was booked on the same flight but changed his mind.

Erm.... my dad used to fly as a hobby and died when his plane crashed in bad weather/low cloud about 25 years ago. I was supposed to go with him that day, but being the lazy teenager I was couldn't get out of bed in time to go with him, so he left without me because he would have been late. Dunno if I dodged a bullet or not really, day might have panned out different if I had gone

Hardly call your dad dying as dodging a bullet. It is a pretty bad beat whatever way you cut it.

Have you read her book? Thoroughly recommended although it doesn't contain as much of her coruscating jocosity as her other works.

I haven't, to my shame.
By any chance, did you find your words on the same website I found mine? Couldn't help notice
jocose

corruscating
were next to each other!
