I meant to put this up 5 or 6 weeks ago but been to busy, i have a good friend who grinds local pokerz by us and gets a bit of horse info now and again  (see 7.50 tipperary horse) and is a good judge on the golf.
His problem is B/R management and i have been paper trading him against a theoretical bank of 200pts for 7 weeks now and i decide how many points per golfer as he just backs with what he has, he only plays the european golf but is eyeing up the american with a view to play next season and i get him to text me his stable on a tuesday before any selections come out in the racing post and then we match it against oddschecker.
This guy is mustard he does lots of research, and despite only trading him on paper for 7weeks since the start of the year when we talk at poker he always gives me his view before the tourney and he would defo be well infront on the season if he had any bankroll management so i have been putting together a plan that we can really work on from next season  (November) using a betting bank.
I decided to put this up so if anyone else wants to get involved they can do and i will keep track of the points profit (hopefully) every week, obviously i will be playing myself and until all our bets are on i wont post the selections on here as i am sure you would appreciate.
For example one of the selections this week was 250/1 and with our local bookies we can price match and still get laid 6places he is now 150 with ladbrokes but 200 elsewhere.
In the past 7weeks "the judge" is 129.09 points in front so at 10per point you would be nearly 1300 up.
My goal is to start with a bankroll of £3000 and play £15 per point and when the roll doubles i will double up the stakes.
This weeks selections for the KLM golf are:
F Molinari  14/1 were on at 16's  2.5 pts e/w
M.Kaymar 10/1 2pts e/w
D.Mcgrane  45/1  1pt e/w
J.Donaldson  50/1  1pt e/w
P.Price  200/1  .75 pts e/w
C.Cevaer  200/1  were on at 250  1pt e/w
I will always use the prices were on at for the running total and were are starting at +129.09 as i said but i will do a count from zero for the benefit of this thread, so this week we are staking 16.5 points out of the bankroll and i will post again during the weekend. The judge says that this course will suit straight hitters.

What course doesn't suit straight hitters?

What course doesn't suit straight hitters?  I dont question him but a few of the golfers if you check the stats are short straight hitters and they will do well on this course

If J Donaldson is a non runner then instead of 1 pt e/w on him it will change to  C Schwartzel  1.5 pt e/w at 18/1

twice a winner in recent years and in good form = Simon Dyson. Any reason to ignore him?

Started to look tired at the weekend in Switzerland playing the last 7 weeks on both sides of the Atlantic will have taken its toll both mentally and physically.

he'll still be in my stable at 40/1. I think we've had this 'golfer must be tired after extensive travel' opinion voiced before, categorically debunked when he won the tournament.

Fair enough, just letting you know he is as big a price he is. Ryder Cup qualification has had him playing every evnt for the last 2 months. The only reason he is playing this week is because he is the defending champion. Good luck with your bets.

Im gonna stick with Chris Wood this week, 4 rounds in the 60's last week without never really challenging shows his game is in decent nick.

1 More horse has been added to the stable  R.Green 1pt e/w at 40/1 so now a total of 18.5 pts are staked this week and all our bets are on at 6places paid
