Charles that looks positively disgusting.

As long as it tasted good though that's all that matters.

I love onions but dear god they hurt my eyes when cutting them Sad

cut the pointy ends off first and take it about a cm from where that joins the main bulbus bit of the onion. The bit that makes you cry is in these bits.

This sounds like the way I chop onions and I have no problems with my eyes.

For anyone who wants to give the one I made a go the recipe is as follows. Serves 3 people with generous portions but can easily cover 4 people:

1 large onion
1 large red pepper
2 hot green chilis (for me this makes it medium - for most it's prob hot - add or take away as you please)
3 cloves of garlic

One Lemon
600g chicken breast

One hicken stock cube
Tomato Puree

Coriander
Cumin
Garam Masala
Cardamom
(all whole seeds)

Olive oil
Salt
Pepper

1) Fry the spices (use however much you want. the more the stronger it'll be. i use 2 desert spoons of each) for 2 minutes at a high heat
2) Crush the spices down to a powder
3) Add a generous helping of olive oil to the pan and add the spices and onion/pepper/garlic/chili. Fry for 5 minutes.
4) Add the chicken and the lemon juice. Fry for another 5 minutes.
5) Add water, chicken stock, salt/pepper, and tomato puree. Add enough water to cover most of the chicken.
6) Simmer for however long you want, until you get the sauce at a consistency you like.
7) Done Smiley

If you want to add egg then do so at the end. Crack 2 eggs and stir them in then leave to cook for 5 minutes.
