Any recommendations for a new mouse. I currently have a crappy £5 one from asda because I am an uber nit, but I starting to getting slight pains in my mouse hand, probably the early stages of carpal tunnel.

So think it is worthwhile investment in getting something good and comfy. Prepared to pay any reasonable amount for a good model.

Thanks in advance.

I use this one at the moment:  http://www.wow-pen.com/new/products/wow_pen_joy.htm  - think it cost me about £30.  The Evoluent one I was using is still fine, but this one suits my hands better (I have small hands).  Can't recommend getting a vertical/hand-shake mouse enough.  Really works for me, no pains at all in my arm and if I use a 'normal' mouse I get pains within 15 minutes.

I use this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Natural-Wireless-Laser-Mouse/dp/B000H7CF1I/ref=sr_1_4?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285929150&sr=8-4

All in button and regain focus buttons for the thumb which I find useful.

This is another vertical-mouse option:

I've also got myself a gamers mouse mat - makes quite a bit of difference too (imo).  I've got this one:  http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sharkoon-4044951006175-1337-MAT-BLACK/dp/B000KHTBQM

the upright ones are suppoed to be the way forward.

I heard you can set up a PS3 controller to do everything and if you can get used to it it's perfection.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

In Vegas, Constanine Paperestis enjoyed the optical illusion caused by Daniel Phillips small hands as they gave him a vertical hand shake causing Constantine wow pen joy.

They look like they might be good for when I'm on the train.  Unfortunately, they're out of stock at the moment so I'm seeing if anyone else sells them.

Whilst looking for them, came across this crazy mouse:
