Just gone out in a race....well one legged one really and Its just dawned on me who Ive been sitting with for the last 8 levels, after the apologies I had to make to Mr Herbert last deepstack I am not going slag of my fellow poker players but I have to tell you about two of the worst poker plays the I have witnessed in recent history (next post).......first the hand I went out on after recovering from a low point of 3300 chips (had 99 vs AJ hold up along the way) Chris Brion raised on the hijack for 2200 I push with QQ (both red) on the cut off for 9300, he dwells up then calls me with K10 diamonds 2 x diamonds on the flop K on the turn....good night Vienna!

Vinny celtic Calenti wins a 25,000 pot off last month's finalist Nigel Ventre

Vinny limped unopened on the button, and Ventre in the small blind completed

My attention is drawn to another table and by the time I return  I see Ventre check the river, the board reading

  two hearts

Vinny bets 7,000 into 11,000

Ventre dwell calls and folds when Vinny shows

Jim McBride raises and the hyper-aggressive, all-attitude Anthony Kennedy from Walsall way re-raises

Jim sees a flop, which comes

 two spades

Jim leads, Anthony pushes, Jim snaps

Jim

Anthony

turn

river

and McBride doubles to 40,000 with some mututal verbals to accompany the end of the hand

LOLZ...... We don't call him lucky jim for nothing you know..

Dave Nicholson has moved up a gear.

Neil Harvey opened for 2300, "lildave" 3bet to 5400 with about 9k behind and Harvey tank-dwelled-folded what he claimed to be "pretty big".

Next hand Nicholson 2.2x'd when it folded to his sb, although the bb called he quickly mucked when Nicholson cbet 2150 on the  board.

After winning the chip lead pot against Jon Lundy about 90 minutes ago, Daniel Wong has been relatively quiet and has maintained his big stack, he is now on 60k.
