Which tournament was this?

7/2 about a 30+ winner for any live tournament is ridic value.

that would make the 6/1 worse value though.

Ladbrokes tourney in Killarney Keith, a couple people I know had bets on those markets too.

I think they were told that the 10 handed final which Val made wasn't the official final and for the purpose of the bet it was 9 places.

10 final from 9 was 10p r4 which is fair enough.

if the whole final table was ladies only the over 30 market prices would not be affected imo.

100% they are related unless the % of men and women over/under 30 is exactly the same

but it's gonna be pot luck whether it benefits you or the bookie and to pay out that much less is outrageous

have you asked them for their reasoning?

His reasoning is that you may have known that proportionally theyre were more over 30's women than men

the actual odds of the double change with each new entrant depending on their age and gender. no way the bookies can allow for that though

however if they look back once entry is closed and see a lot more over 30s/women/both they may feel they're justified in making a deduction. not that I agree it's right as they'd def not do it the other way if less over 30s or women bought in
